3rd Sand Coffin [Video/Action]
[Without preamble, Gaara accesses the network and just gets straight to the point.] The medical supplies in the infirmary are inadequate. With imminent danger, recovery time is best limited, whenever possible.
For those of you willing to divulge, state your name and healing knowledge or capabilities. You may be contacted in the future for medical assistance.
[His attention shifts over to the notebook lying beside the keyboard, pen poised and ready to write information down.]

Yes, it is. Some people think otherwise. They believe that they must be surrounded by many others, to validate their own existence. [Gaara frowned slightly.] That isn't an ideology I can agree with.
[A difficult question to answer. After all this time, Gaara himself was still learning about the ties called "friendship" - amongst other kinds of bonds. He thought about the friends he had made at the facility, and what they did for each other that bound them together.]
A friend is someone that you can trust and depend on, when you're in need. A friend will associate with you, regardless of your flaws as a person. A true friend won't abandon you, even if you are the one to walk away. [Gaara focused his gaze on the wall in front of him, his mind starting to get lost with memories.] A friend is patient, accepting, and understanding, but wouldn't be afraid to confront you, should you be led astray.
[Slowly, he shook his head.] Friends are not clones of each other. They're not required to share all of the same interests and hobbies. Friendships, when complementary, are beneficial in helping both parties grow. One-sided bonds are-...
[He cut himself off, not wanting to talk about that right now.]
If you gave Ishtar your word, then you should keep it. Friends should not betray each other. [His gaze darkened a little just then, while uttering the last sentence.]
[Action]
Now, he had to start all over again. The rational explanations and the knowledge from others really helped him along toward that understanding, that comprehension of humanity at its most basic level of what a society really is.
He nods his head and stands up from behind the table.]
Then, it's time for me to go and fulfill that promise. I need the exercise anyway.
[Action]
He quirked a brow at the boy.] Now? You have yet to fully recover. Ishtar would be displeased if she knew what you wanted to do, in spite of your current condition.
[Action]
I better wait.
[His hand reached for the book that was once discarded and opens it up, his chin rested on the edge of the table.]
My premature decision to leave the infirmary obviously comes at a price.
[Action]
[He noticed that odd little stumble. His stubbornness would come at a price too, if he wasn’t more careful.]
Elian. [Back in his commanding voice.] Return to the infirmary and rest until you have recovered.
[After a short pause, he decided to warn him.] I can utilize force, if necessary. Or I could simply inform Ishtar of your careless behavior.
[Action]
It's bad enough that he pushes himself like this.]
That won't be necessary. I'll go to my room now. I'm sorry I bothered you.
[He knows that Gaara means well. His father did the same at times which makes this particular encounter a little difficult to ignore as he walks toward the door.]
[Action]
......
[As he walked by and headed toward the door, Gaara called out to him.]
You’re not bothering me. You simply need to place your own well-being on a higher priority. [He paused briefly, and then followed up with.] I can visit you at a later time. However… you won’t be returning to the infirmary, correct?
[Action]
Correct. It wouldn't do me any good to stay at the infirmary. I'm just going to go to sleep anyway when my room is closer. Two-twelve.
[There is a small, hopeful smile that follows.]
I...would like that.
[Action]
[He returned to the terminal and wrote the room number down in his notebook.]
Send me a message when you awaken. [He stared down at the page for a moment, thinking.] Is there anything you would like me to bring? [Other than political guests, he really didn’t know how to entertain people. Children seemed to like games, but what could they play here?]
(OOC: Would you mind throwing up a log? XD Unless you want to handwave?)
[Action]
[He opens the door and then pauses again.]
Um, it's not necessary. As long as it's not melons, I really don't mind. I'm okay with just conversation.
[Elian wasn't the typical child, but he certainly had his moments of immature actions and thoughts just like any other kid.
He didn't want to spend too much time there and decides to leave so Gaara could do his work without distractions.]
(OOC: On it. :D)
