[April looks both tired and not very happy, and she seems to be suffering from sort of headache, judging by how she's rubbing her forehead with a grimace.]

Apparently portable communication devices are a thing that's impossible to make here. If you can somehow put together the materials to make something simple, making a wireless connection between them is impossible, even with use of powers. I tried and now my head hates me for it.

[A sigh as she rubs her eyes.]

So yeah, to the people who I told this about and stuff, sorry but it's not gonna happen. And on a related note, if anyone wants any sort of tech made, I'll probably be able to help out. So long as it isn't a portable communications device or something like that.

*Enoch doesn't know enough about modern technology to request something, but...the only portable communications device he's ever encountered is Lucifel's phone, which was used to contact God. So it isn't a stretch of the imagination to suggest...*

Perhaps they want to prevent us from finding a way to contact the outside...

[April tilts her head, and gives him a faint nod.] Possibly... If we were able to set up a wireless network, we might have been able get in contact with anyone outside. I guess we have to look for other ways to do that, then...

I certainly hope there are others outside. Someone told me they had tried climbing down the side of the tower, and didn't remember anything after passing through the mist except waking up here as if they had died.

[She blinks at him in surprise, before giving a few nods.] I... see... But, there has to be something out there. I mean, wherever we are can't just have a tower with mist around it... right?

We shouldn't. But this may not be an ordinary place...

You're right about that... And if there is something out there, it might not be friendly... But for now, we can hope there's something good out there.

We can. If there is, I hope we find a way to contact them.

We might be able to. We just have to try our best and hope the people who run the tower slip up sometime or left cracks in the system so that it'll be possible

Until then...We would have better luck hoping a letter will drift far enough in the wind.

*Obviously not a serious suggestion. That's not going to work well, is it?*

[She gives a small laugh, though she winces when it makes her head ache more.] You're right about that. But you never know what will happen here.

That's true. As hard as it is to hope for the best...
