[001: Video]
[April looks both tired and not very happy, and she seems to be suffering from sort of headache, judging by how she's rubbing her forehead with a grimace.]
Apparently portable communication devices are a thing that's impossible to make here. If you can somehow put together the materials to make something simple, making a wireless connection between them is impossible, even with use of powers. I tried and now my head hates me for it.
[A sigh as she rubs her eyes.]
So yeah, to the people who I told this about and stuff, sorry but it's not gonna happen. And on a related note, if anyone wants any sort of tech made, I'll probably be able to help out. So long as it isn't a portable communications device or something like that.

[ A soft chuckle escapes him. ]
Now tell me, where are you?
[Nope, gonna be difficult about this. Though Haldir will be able to see shelves of books behind her, so she's most likely in the library.]

Very well, I shall come fetch you.
[ And with that said, he vanishes completely off screen. ]
[action]
... DAMMIT SHE DIDN'T THINK HE WAS SERIOUS.
This is the point where she would try to leave, except standing up is enough to cause her to double over and grip her head when her head starts to throb. So he'll find her standing by a terminal in the library, looking as though she was about to leave but currently in too much pain to do more than stand.]
[action]
It wasn't until he caught a glimpse of April's auburn hair did he approach at last. ]
You there.
[ He called to her with such demand. ]
Where do you think you're going?
[action]
But it doesn't stop her from frowning up at him... or at least the blur that she thought was him.]
T-to the workshop... I have something I need to work on.
[action]
Nay, you come with me.
[ Haldir states boldly as he reaches for arm. ]
[action]
N-no! What- W-why're you doing this?
[action]
You are clearly sick and like every other simple-minded mortal in this tower, you refuse to take care of your health. Therefore, I shall do you this one favor and see you to bed in hopes that you stop treating your mortality so recklessly!
[ In truth, Haldir honestly means well but he's a tad...pushy. Very pushy. ]
Now, do you truly wish to argue with me any further?
[action]
So she eventually sighs and glances down at the floor.]
... No, I won't...
[action]
Now come with me, child. You're starting to become so pale.
[ Without warning, the elf leaned forward in attempt to scoop April into his arms. ]
You could be with fever.
[action]
H-hey, I-I can walk!
[action]
No, you cannot! You could barely stand a moment ago, so what makes you---
[ His grip on April slips and the girl almost goes head first against the stone floor. Luckily, Haldir is fast and quickly catches her in his arms again. Grabbing her albeit roughly now, the march warden pins another unamused glare on April. ]
No more squirming.
[action]
[action]
Again, where is your room located? Shall your roommates mind you having a guest?
[action]
... 1-15, and I doubt they would mind... [Her voice is quiet and somber, a contrast to the firmness she had before. She felt embarrassed and ashamed, and now she just wanted to hide under a rock or something.]
[action]
Right here, correct?
[action]
Ah, yep... Thanks. [She's aware of how odd her quietness is now, but most of her energy had been drained by her arguing earlier and now she's just tired and sore.]
[action]
You are most welcomed but you should've sought rest on your own.
[ Only he could accept gratitude AND scold someone within the same breath. ]
Honestly, you might be with fever.
[ Now that he managed to get her shoes off, the elf carefully places them on the floor before tending to April once more. Now gathering the sheets and blankets for her, Haldir soon drapes them over April's form. ]
Next time, be sure to take better care. Unlike us elves, you "humans" are quite prone to disease and illness.
[action]
Um, r-right...
... I-I'm sorry...
[action]
[ Haldir muttered under his breath as he eyed the girl with such a frown. ]
The next time we meet, I certainly do hope you'll be in good health. Now, is there anything you require? Tea perhaps? Food?
[action]
[action]
A power backlash...?
