I've come to understand that there is something wrong with the languages in this tower... until now, I thought everyone spoke Japanese but I guess that's just how the "translator" works.

If you can understand this language, but it's not a language you're familiar with, this is Japanese. I would be willing to answer any questions you might have about this language or anything else, don't be afraid to ask.

For anyone wondering, Japanese is my first language, and the only other language I can speak is English. But if you need someone to translate Japanese to English or vice verse, I would be willing to help.

[He clears his throat, and starts speaking again. Only this time it's in slightly accented English.]

I can speak English, enough for talking. I don't know who needs help, but I can translate Japanese to English and English to Japanese. Please ask if you need this.

And... can you teach me your language, if you know more? I would like to learn more.

[There's a pause and he frowns a bit sadly, before speaking again. First in Japanese, then repeated in English.]

On another note, Kageyama Reiji is gone. I found his grave the other day.

It wasn't strange... just a bit depressing.

[ Well, she can understand that. She wouldn't find it strange either, she never finds anything strange. But she is slowly starting to realise here that her 'strange' and other people's 'strange' are quite different concepts, so she's just making sure here.. ]

.. If you're sad, I want to cheer you up. You shouldn't be sad..

You don't have to do anything, I'll be fine.

[He smiles a bit halfheartedly]

[ ... Kidou...!!

That smile is only half-hearted, even someone as blank and half oblivious as Urotsuki can notice that! So her expression noticably deflates, even if she doesn't say anything. Yeah, that's right, she's just going to give you the puppy eyes (although not on purpose...) until you give in. ]

[At least she doesn't have her puppy ears and tail to go with those puppy eyes...

but... they are so upset... and cute.. and..............

After a minute or so of a silent stare down with those big ol' puppy eyes, he lets out a small sigh.]

I'm happy that you want to comfort me, but I really will be fine, Urotsuki. You don't have to worry about me. [And after a pause...]

... Though If you would like to spend some time together in person, I wouldn't mind.

[ She can use them if he likes it, okay, all he has to do is say it since she doesn't realise... but at least that last bit really does seem like he's giving in. He's giving in, isn't he? So she perks up a little more (in the Urotsuki way, aka she's still half-blank) and smiles softly. ]

You really don't mind?

[How the hell is she so cute...]

Yeah, why would I mind?

I don't know-- no, I mean.. [ she shakes her head lightly to herself. ]

I'm just glad.

[ Because of course she always would like to spend time with him, but right now it's even more important - she still hasn't given up on trying to cheer him up. ]

[He smiles a bit more genuinely.]

So, where should we meet up?

[ She twirls a strand of hair around her finger almost a little bashfully. ]

Do you want to come to my room again this time..?

Sure. I'll meet you there.

[He waves a bit before turning off the feed, and making his way to her room.]

[ She may or may not have hurried there for once - either way, she's there first. She's left the door open so he can just come in, and she's sitting on her bed.. which is always a risk with Urotsuki since she might just go ahead and sleep there, but nope, she's awake this time. Her legs are hanging over the side of her bed as she swings them back and forth a little. She's just watching that, but once she hears him approaching she looks up. ]

Yuuto, hi. [ Her greeting is very much the usual though. ]

Yo. [He walks over and sits down on her bed next to her.]

[ For a moment she's quiet (she usually is, after all) but after a while she has to ask after all, since he does seem happier.. ]

Are you alright now, Yuuto?

[His smile turns a bit softer.]

I'm fine.

[ Another moment passes, but then she lightly bumps her shoulder against his'. ]

For sure? [ Look at those puppy eyes, Kidou. Look at them. ]

[Oh no not the puppy eyes...

He leans over and gently kisses her cheek.]

I promise.

[ I even made that icon just for the puppy eyes okay, it works.

But apparently a kiss on the cheek cures a lot already, since it instantly already seems to make her look better. ]

Hmm. I believe you, Yuuto. You wouldn't make a false promise.

[Wow you are pretty dedicated aren't you...]

How about you, though? Are you feeling okay today?

[ N-not like I like this ship or anything, don't misunderstand!! ]

I'm okay. [ And she seems to mean it. ] Everything's a little bit weird with the languages, huh? But.. I can understand you just fine.

[Well it's not like I like it either!!!!]

It's a little weird... but it also reminds everyone how we're all culturally different, and I think it's kind of neat.

Do you speak any language other than Japanese, Urotsuki?

Not really.. [ she shakes her head a little. ] I can say a few things in English, but not a whole lot. And aside from that, I don't really speak any other languages at all.

Ah, really? I can only speak English besides Japanese myself.

Wow, you can really speak English just normally..? That's amazing.
