Video
[For the most part, Lancer had been avoiding the comms. He knew where to find his friends and Master in person. The language barrier wasn't that much of a problem because both he and Ayaka spoke Japanese, and most of the other Servants should be speaking it too unless they had been caught up in the language switching.]
[However, right now, there was something he really wanted to ask the tower at large. That is, something besides whether or not he could still communicate with his fellow Servants. That morning, he had found a stack of papers in his room. Papers that told him he was now a janitor. He's not quite sure what it means.]
[So now he's standing at a console, papers in hand. He also has a pen which he snatched from one of his roommates, just in case he ran into someone who didn't speak the same languages that he did. He speaks in English first, as slowly and clearly as he can.]
Hey, my name is Lancer. How many of you can still understand me? How many of my kind can still understand me? If you understand what I am saying, contact me back, maybe with video. I have a question I want to ask.
[He repeats the words in Japanese, and then Gaelic on the off-chance that someone can speak that.]

Re: [Video]
[Her next sentence has him staring at her in surprise.]

[Then again, Tohko didn't have much of a problem accepting her job. She would have become an unofficial librarian anyway, due to her love of books. However, she paused for a moment at the mention of 'Master'. So..this guy was from the same world as Waver. This was one of those Servants he spoke of. A person caught up in the Holy Grail War. At this realization, she smiled.]
And maybe they think they can get away with this because they're higher in status than your Master? I'm pretty sure their wrong in that assumption, but that may be what they think.
[It just irked him when the tower seemed to make assumptions about his loyalty. Status didn't matter to him--a Master was a Master, and he would only ever serve one at a time.]
While the bond between you and your Master may be strong, if you were to die, she'd feel really guilty about it. She'd get depressed and blame herself..so..while you only have one Master, that you'll always listen to and obey, that doesn't mean you can't listen to others every now and then to make sure that you and your Master stay safe.
[Tohko sighed.] Even if you have to do a job that you hate. Even if that request comes from Ruana, of all Administrators.
Re: [Video, Japanese]
[Right. He hadn't considered that. Ayaka was already blaming herself for enough thing. She didn't need guilt over Lancer as well.]
[He gives her a blank look.]
[Tohko scratched her head.]
Ruana is one of the Administrators here. She's the one that set up that horrid candy event last month, if you were here for that.
[The candy event was cruel, yes, but it was straightforward. It was not like the body switch erasing the victims' identities from within.]
Yeah, that was. After all, if you were in that event, the note you got at the end of it was from Ruana. And..in my opinion, she may be worse than Jason. Jason, if I've heard correctly, has tortured people, put them in poor living conditions, and medically experimented on them, but I haven't heard of him taking away someone's free will before.
[Tohko sighs. While she was mad that Ruana had twisted her body and mind so that eating books was rather hard and that she killed three people before realizing it, she was also annoyed that the realization of this had managed to break one of her friends for a good while.]
Re: [Video, Japanese]
[Lancer was lucky. The costume had just given him a case of horror hunger. He had no problems with killing things to sate it either.]
Bodyswapping? People got into the bodies of others and had to deal with them..that is horrible.
Re: [Video, Japanese]
[It was even worse, but he won't go into the details.]
...I see. I suppose Jason is worse than Ruana then. Although..in the end, they're both pretty horrible people.
Re: [Video, Japanese]
They all are pretty terrible, except Dax. I wonder why he continues to work with them if he's the only good egg in the basket?
Re: [Video, Japanese]
[Tohko would suggest taking out Ruana too, but she has no idea who would be able to replace the woman and still be able to make everything run properly.]
..Dax's position is pretty bad.
Re: [Video, Japanese]
[He nods, and the taps his chin, thinking.]
Thanks..however, I'm not quite sure how one would put that plan into effect. We'd first have to find out where Jason resides and how to get there undetected.
[She then nods.]
Sure! After all, Christmas is coming around the corner, so the timing seems right. Maybe a bottle of wine or a good book?
