[Except this one emotes and talks with a Brooklyn accent. Ah, well. Labrys knew that formal tone and wording well enough--she used to use it herself.]

I encountered one of the towers monsters on the forty-seventh floor. It was dealt with.

[Shion had rushed down to the first floor for the elevator, and swiped some cotton balls from the infirmary along the way. After an elevator ride, she appeared on the first dormitory floor, looking for her gross android.]

[That's okay, Labby-chan can sympathize.]

Well alright, if you're sure... [Honestly, just looking at her made Labrys a little uncertain. Hadn't a lot of the others in her generation had similar hair and eye colors?]

...What's your name? <small.[If she got anything other than a number, Labrys would most likely be incredibly relieved.]

[Said gross android is standing right near the terminal she had been using, still bloody and gross. When her scanners detect Shion though, she goes to meet her quickly. And hopefully not leaving TOO MUCH of a mess on the floors for the drones to clean up.]

I am certain. [That would be interesting. KOS-MOS hasn't encountered any other androids before, since she's the only one in existence in her time.]

I'm Labrys. It's nice t' meetcha. [That was definitely an unusual name--she probably wasn't an anti-Shadow weapon. As far as Labrys knew they'd all likely been named after weaponry.]

If ya don't mind my askin'...you're an android, ain't ya? [She looked more like a human, Labrys idly noted, but it was hard to mistake that behavior for anything else.]

[Sorry, dorm floor 1. She led KOS-MOS to the bathrooms, and put her in a shower stall for an initial rinse while she looked for some towels.]

It is nice to meet you as well, Labrys. [She runs the name through her database. When no results come up, she adds her to it as well as making sure her appearance is carefully recorded for reference.]

[KOS-MOS nods and follows Shion quietly, except for the click of her heels.

She's easier to clean than a kid, really. And she just stands completely still in the stall for Shion to do whatever she needs to in order to get everything off.]

[Her mouth hung open for a second; it was pretty safe to say that 'Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon' Labrys was startled to hear that.]

Uh, s-sorry...what's a Gnosis? I ain't ever heard a' that before.

[Returning from her search, Shion set the thin towel down, and after pushing back her sleeves, reached into the shower to pick bits of monster goo from KOS-MOS's hair.]

KOS-MOS, what were you doing on that floor?

A Gnosis is a creature that resides in the imaginary domain of existence and reacts in a hostile manner to humanity. They are capable of interacting with the real domain of existence in order to kill humans, however they are never fully present and so they cannot be fought normally by humans.

[Still just remaining still and letting Shion do that.]

I was searching for addition items that might ease the discomfort of the tower residents as the temperature falls.

[She took careful note of that, cross-referencing it with her extensive database on Shadows to be sure. Of the thousand-plus database entries, there was no mention of Gnosis or anything sounding like what KOS-MOS had described.]

Huh...I don't think we have those where I come from. Least, not as far as I know.

That is a logical conclusion. Many of the individuals in this tower are not familiar with Gnosis as they appear to be present only in the universe I originated in and the variations of it.

Makes sense, thinkin' of the kinda people I've talked to around here. I'd guess you ain't ever heard a' Shadows either, huh?
