What the Hell was that? That girl..she just ate her own companion, didn't she? She just ate him like he was piece of meat! Even though he hadn't done a single thing wrong...! What the Hell does she mean, "rotten!?" The only thing rotten here is her!

[She clenches her teeth and reaches to end the feed, then suddenly stops. She didn't really care about Dax, but she thinks, probably, he was the only one she came close to liking, but more than that? It's infuriating to see someone betray their companion like that.]

Ruana! You're watching to this, aren't you!? So why don't you show yourself already! Tell us all about how you used to pray to keep your soul while going around and stealing everyone else's. That's the real point of all this, right!? You were never interested in saving anyone to begin with!

Seriously, whatever the Hell it means to lose your Tower in this place, you deserve it! Denying people even death, stuffing them into bodies that they don't want and killing them just for fun, doing things like that to your own companions--I hope somebody years your heart and soul out, you disgusting waste of space. Nobody here needs your kind of salvation.

As for the rest of you, I could care less about what you think of this post. If you ain't got anything useful to say, don't even bother.

Kyoko..I think I know what Ruana meant when she said that Dax's brain was rotten. Brains with empathy function differently than brains without it. Maybe..this difference is seen as 'rotten' to Ruana.

[ He's seen some pretty fucked up things during the Survival Game. People getting blown up right in front of him with explosives. Yuno hacking people twice her size to pieces with anything sharp and/or pointy she can get her hands on with little effort. A little kid killing people. Dogs tearing people up with their teeth. But that? That?

That was high-octane nightmare fuel, and Yukiteru Amano's standards for that are pretty high at this point. ]

To Ruana and her kind, it might appear that way. If it's a joke, it's a pretty horrible one..this whole situation is just..horrible.

However, I don't care if we seem rotten to her for having empathy and emotions.

Nobody in their right mind would think this is funny. She's starting to remind me of somebody I knew back home. That thing thought it was fine to just use people, then throw them away like they were trash.

So how do we get rid of her?

That's..horrible! I'm sorry to hear that you had to deal with something like that. No one should have to.

If we want to get rid of her..then we have to find her and fling everything we have at her.

Sounds like somebody got into her room, so it should be possible.

That girl must have some weakness. We've just gotta find out what it is and then crush her!

[It's the same for Kyoko, really. She's found her family dead, her closest friend turned into a Witch, reduced to feed for new magical girls, all on top of the monsters she fought to fight every day. She tells herself that nothing can be worse than what she's already seen.

And yet, sometimes they still are.]

I don't want to think about what it is that lets her treat people like that. No matter what he did, there was no reason to go that far!

[She shakes her head. She's trembling a little, despite herself.]

It should be. It should also be possible to access other Administrators parts of the Tower.

Maybe..maybe we can use her lack of empathy against her. I'm not sure how yet..but it may help.

[ Homura feels a swell of fear in her gut. Kyoko's tone and words bother her. She doesn't want for the other magical girl to be upset, but who wouldn't be? Similarly, she does not want for Kyoko to be singled out like that. ]

I don't understand, why would anyone do something like that? And it's not fair to deny people death...

[ Mami could only watch her "student" at this point. She wasn't going to stop her, because she had to let this out. In a way, Kyoko was letting her feelings out. She shouldn't have to pent them up like Mami did.

In a way, Kyoko was expressing rage for both herself and the blond. ]

Clearly, her definition of saving is different from our own.

[ Mami is not calm. Mami is anything but that. But she had to look it. She couldn't break down here. ]

[The face of a very pale, incredibly shaken Naoto greets her.]

[ Story of his life, Kyoko. Well. Minus the witches. What Ruana did was something straight of one of his nightmares, and after all he's seen, it takes a lot to make him truly terrified. He may have been toughened up quite a bit, but that? That was pure insanity. ]

[Kyoko's not sure whether or not she herself is still alright either, not really.]

Obviously. I'd rather be dead than have to be saved by a person like that, y'know.

[She shakes her head furiously. This is just too much.]

"Saving us from ourselves?" Hah! Like anybody needs her to decide what's best. She can't even take care of her own companions!

Yeah. I dunno how we'd do something like that though. It'd probably be dangerous. It's not like we even have one less person to worry about now, 'cause Dax was the only one that bothered to try and help us.

Use her lack of empathy against her, huh...I guess that's as good of a start as any. Lots of people think that emotions are pretty powerful or whatever.

[Powerful enough, at least in her world, to counteract entropy.]

It probably would be dangerous..and Dax is gone..but maybe that just means we have to help ourselves. Make miracles without a god, if that makes any sense.

And emotions are pretty powerful! After all, in A Wrinkle In Time, the brain that didn't understand love was defeated by it.
