Ahem. I'd be most grateful if someone could inform me where in this tower I could find some more decent clothing than those issued to us.

[Her lips thin at even having to mention the unacceptable items of clothing.]

I'm afraid I'm quite new, so I don't know where to even begin.

For reference, 'decent' means tops that button up to the neck and skirts that are at least ankle length. Thank you.

I'll still wear them. Perhaps the sight of them will even discourage anyone who might think to start trouble.

I hope they discourage the troublemakers completely, but even if they don't you've got far more to surprise them with.

I've been warned by a gentleman that we've not escaped being imprisoned with cruel people. There is clothing about the tower, but it could possess us or drive us to death. Do be careful about what you accept from people.

I will. I'm far more accustomed to foraging for myself at this point, anyway.

We'll have to check whatever we forage to make sure it won't do anything similar.

I do hope that the water comes in those plastic bottles. I've got a lot of room in my trunk I could use to store something useful.

I hope they let us fill up our trunks at least. It would be a waste of a good storage space otherwise.

[She taps her lip, thinking about this]

We could probably stack some supplies under our beds, and if we find some building materials around here we might even be able to make shelves for our walls. Of course, I wouldn't want to go to the trouble of building those if everything on them disappeared in a few hours, but I'm sure that someone who's been here longer than us would know the answers.
