I have known a couple of people who had alternate versions of themselves here, but they always had very sharp distinctions in their looks. Hair color, eye color. I suppose I should not have assumed all alternate versions would be so distinctive.

You are correct. It is never wise to have a whole group that is completely one kind of fighter or the other. Nothing is for certain in this place and even the certain can change in the blink of an eye. One thing I have always tried to do since arriving is prepare for anything since it so often happens.
