I'm so sorry for pushing you away over the last week...it's not the first time I've been out of my right mind in this place, unfortunately, and I'm ashamed for having lost myself again. I just hope you weren't hurt at my expense...and if you were, I definitely don't deserve your forgiveness. I'm sorry.

I believe so; it looks like the people who were killed during the game have come back.

I'm sorry that you died because of this...I did, too, and I also just woke up. It's...strange, though. I've died here before, but it never took this long for me to come back.

They weren't? Odd...although now that you mention it, I don't think my roommates were affected by them either. Or if they were, I couldn't tell.

Possibly...or it could be something to do with the shadows? There were a lot of people who died because of them a couple months ago, and it seemed like it took a few days for them to revive as well.

That could be it too. I died to the monsters when people were turned into monsters, and I came back right away, but I didn't when I died because of the shadows last time.

Yes. It seems strange, doesn't it? Like it only targets a portion of the Tower's residents.

That's the most important part. Dying sometimes is hard to get around, but it's okay if it's not your fault and you come back.

It seems to be over now... Did something happen to you? Are you okay now?

It must've had something to do with the candy...maybe only one person per room? I'm not sure I want to know.

...That's an interesting way of putting it, but I agree! I just don't know if it was my fault or not.

I think I got too many riddles wrong and made my shadow unhappy with me.

It can't be avoided now. The best you can do is learn from whatever your mistake was and go on, I think.

I thought so at first...but it almost seemed like I was getting my last two riddles okay. Something about the food I was giving them, though...it was like they'd take the first couple, and then get one they didn't like and get very angry with me. I don't know if I just gave them too much, or...?

No, that can't be it. I'd accidentally give them too much and they just threw the extras away. Did you get them from a strange place?

...Now that you mention it, I did get some chocolate coins in the mail, and those were what finally made the shadow lose its patience with me.

[Yeah, probably should've been more cautious about the mysterious unmarked candy stash left in his mailbox. Hadn't really considered that things would end badly at the time.]

The one that came the day before got mad at an apple I gave it, though, and I don't remember getting that from a weird place...

I got candy in the mail, too, but I don't remember if I had to give those out.
