[It's hard not to notice just how low the counter's gotten. Riku still remembers when the number was up in the triple digits, but now it's dropping lower each day. How much time do they really have to turn things all around? And just what can they hope to do in so little time?

When the video starts up, Riku appears hunched over the keyboard, fingers tapping at the desk.]

We've got less than two months now. I wonder what we can really do. I'm definitely not gonna give up hope, but we're gonna have to start thinking ahead. Planning for the home stretch. We've made a ton of progress. I just hope we can keep the momentum going.

[He pauses briefly, looking down at the ground.]

Things have already gotten tense. For those of you who didn't get flung outside the tower, how were things from your end? Hopefully better than what we went through. Out there, it felt like I could've exploded at any second. Almost like this lousy, wireframe body just couldn't hold me anymore. All those dead bodies sure didn't help much, either.

[Heaving a soft sigh, Riku finally leans back in his seat.]

I just wonder if it'll get any worse than that. Probably just jinxed us by saying that, but you can never really tell with this place.

[He'll just leave it at that for now, ending the message with a click.

Anyone perusing floor 3 may spot this Riku waiting at the computer, with a colorful looking Dragon doozing at his side.]

I think we can. It will be difficult, but we can't come this far only to fail.

Sure. I just wonder what I can do to help. There's gotta be a better way for me to chip in than to just sit here and speculate.

[He did manage to scoop up a book on the way back into the tower, but with no reliable means to translate, he's not sure what to really do with it.]

There's a way for all of us to do so, somehow. Are you on one of the dormitory hall terminals, or in a library?

Right now I'm down in the library. Was gonna dig through some of the books in a bit, see if there's anything that can help with what I found outside.

[Granted, he doubts he'll find anything of note. Past experience has taught him that everything useful remains under lock and chain.]

Would you mind coming up here again? I have an idea.

*Because as far as he knows, the libraries here have never had anything useful to the tower itself. General skills, yes, they have been useful in that regard. But not in any immediate sense.*

Hmm... You know what? I'm getting tired of sitting in this stuffy library, anyway. I'll get up there ASAP.

[In fact, with this message out of the way, he'll push away from the computer and make his way towards the elevator. No need to keep Enoch waiting, after all.]

*Enoch closes the video and waits for Riku to join him at the dormitory levels. He motions for him to walk down the stairs with him.*

You found something outside? What was it?

*He speaks relatively quietly despite not being near any walls. The central column of the tower is suspect enough to him after that mess.*

Well, I found this.

[He steps closer and holds out a book. If Enoch cares to look inside, he'll find that it's in an incomprehensible text. Certainly not the text that appears on the terminals or in the library's usual collections.]

Been trying to decode the thing, but I just keep hitting dead ends.

*...That looks familiar.* ...It might be the language of this world. Decoding it won't be of much use if it isn't a code.

*He leads Riku towards the teleporter and the secret room. If anyone can read it, it would be either Zo or Aria.*

[The teleporter, huh? Riku's starting to see where this is going so, nodding, he continues trailing along.]

You think Aria might be able to do it? The way I see it, it's either her or the admins, and I don't know how many more chances we'll get to talk to them.

*Enoch doesn't respond until they're actually in the secret room.*

She likely will. I don't see why she wouldn't be able to read the language of this world. *And she can read, considering the original form of communication with her was via notes.*
