[Oh look, it's Legolas' first post on the Network. Ever. Oh sure, he's replied to a few before but this is the first he's using it himself.]

I require some assistance. There is someone I wish to help learn the ways that my people fight however she does not have the weaponry required.

I obviously do not expect the same level of craftsmanship as these but I would like a pair similar for the Lady Zelda. If there's anyone that can assist me, I would appreciate a swift reply.

I do, yes. Although I also have a Rohirrim sword and a bow.

Huh. I haven't seen a lot of bow users where I was from. Guns and swords usually.

They're a kind of crossbow that fires little pieces of lead using gunpowder. You could see if people have them; I think I smelled some the other day.

It sounds as though it would be a great asset in battle.

It could be depending on your opponent. Or you have something huge to blow up.

Against the opponents we faced during the War of the Ring, it would have been.

Bullets aren't that useful against a SOLDIER. Most of us can dodge them or block them.

Impressive. The training must have been excruciating.

The scientists take a normal person and tweaks them until they are faster and stronger then normal. Depending on how much they enhance a person, the higher in ranking they are.

I've never heard of such a thing before, nor have I imagined it in my wildest of dreams.

What kind of world do you come from? [ He has only met one elf before but there is a difference between them for him to not want to make a connection. He doesn't really want to be rude. ]

I'm not entirely certain of how to describe Middle Earth to someone unfamiliar. It is inhabited by Elves, Dwarves, Men, Hobbits, Orcs and many other creatures. Dragons as well, though none have been seen or known since the death of Smaug.

Smaug... I met another person that referred to a dragon by that name. Where I come from, they were mostly big lizards except for the old ones. Those were trapped in Mako and became Summons.

Yeah... A little older then you but sort of has the same look.

The life's blood of the Planet. It is what happens when the Lifestream touches Gaia and becomes like a river.

I didn't know there were other kind of planets until I came here. I always thought every planet had a Lifestream.

Perhaps Arda does have a Lifestream, it's simply something we'll never see.

He seemed okay, though he did call me a master swordsman.

[ He's a bit embarrassed by that since the sword skills weren't all his. ]

Maybe. Our world, it was living and we saw bits of it and sometimes we made magic from those bits. The SOLDIERs like me have it in their blood, so we get what everyone calls 'Mako eyes'.
