[ During the chaos, Wilhelm hadn't been seen at all, until almost a full hour into the monster flood. Despite the screams, violent shaking of the tower, and the destroyed barrier, Wilhelm seems abnormally calm, staring into his compass. For a while, the video continues like this, until Wilhelm takes a sip of his wine, and calmly moves his hand towards a chess piece, only slightly moving it across the board. ]

It begins.

[ He comments quietly. The room he's in appears to be one of the lower levels of the Tower, clear of monsters, at least for now. There's books, of course - Floor Three? - but Wilhelm seems to have found a rather deserted corner of the room without a whole lot in it, to set up his temporary compass-staring desk. ]

[ Directly to T!Allen: ]

Allen, I will need you to find and collect a few people for me, to ensure they are not harmed. Do you understand?

*He's already got a heavy crossbow over one shoulder when he checks the network. He doesn't look too tired, but it's hard to tell with the mask covering his face.*

Of course. Who should I look for?

Three young ladies by the name of Haruhi Suzumiya, Tetra, and April Sinclair.

They are not to be harmed in any way.

Derp, meant to say the first one was private, too.

[temptestament]

I've already met April. What do the other two look like?

Tetra is dressed like a pirate, in ancient cinema. She has pointed ears, and dark skin.

Haruhi is dressed in a formal oriental dress. She has brown hair, brown eyes, and has yellow ribbons in her hair. When you see her, and sense what she is, you will know precisely why I have taken interest in her.

[temptestament]

*Well, that last part is interesting. And maybe a bit ominous. He nods and glances over his shoulder for a second before a beam fires off from over his shoulder, weak by Testament standards but still nothing to laugh at, and something splorts.*

Is there anywhere specific you want me to take them?

[oforder]

Here, where I am, if it is at all possible. If it is not, wherever they will be safe.

[temptestament]

You're alright there, then?

[oforder]

For now, yes. It will be a little while before the monsters reach this floor. But as you are well aware, I am not incapable of defending myself.

[temptestament]

*He knows Wilhelm's powers are probably almost as useless as his right now, but he won't get into that argument here.*

If they get to you before we're gathered, let me know. My Ethers seem to still be working at about half.

I thought it would be. *He reaches to cut the feed, then pauses.* Good luck.

(( OOC: Somehow, this post got buried in my reading page and I completely missed it. Anyone can read this thread if they choose, the filter doesn't apply. Not like there's anything super secret about it anyway. ))

But this is action now.

*About half an hour later, Allen shows up on foot, carrying an unconscious April in both arms.*

She's mostly alright, but I had to put her to sleep to get her to stop trying to fight on her own.

[oforder]

I hope her resistance wasn't too difficult. That is why I sent you to retrieve her, and not somebody else.

[ The monsters weren't here, though. Yet. Wilhelm was constantly glancing towards the door, though, as if he expected otherwise soon. ]

[temptestament]

*He kneels down to put her on the floor and shakes his head.*

I ended up using a sleep Ether because she wouldn't listen to reason and she couldn't really resist that. She's probably not going to be very happy when she wakes up, though.

[oforder]

We will deal with that later.

[ Wilhelm walked over to the sleeping April, and looked down at her. ]

Where are the other two?

[temptestament]

*He stands up as Wilhelm walks over and takes a step back.*

I haven't had the chance to find them yet. My powers aren't working well enough to go searching while carrying someone.

[oforder]

I have noticed. Mine aren't, either.

[ It isn't something he is willing to admit out loud. ]

My own Ether isn't quite up to speed as it is. But as it stands, this is the safest place of the tower, for now.

[temptestament]

*It's strange, thinking that Wilhelm's just as weakened as he is. But what's stranger is that that isn't the weirdest thing he's had to deal with here.*

Speaking of that, I hope you don't mind if I bring someone extra here. I'm kind of worried about Nigredo.

*It ultimately doesn't matter if Wilhelm minds or not, since he's going to keep Nigredo where he can keep an eye on him whether Wilhelm approves or not, but its best to know where he stands on the idea.*

[oforder]

[ Don't worry, Allen, he most definitely isn't happy about it either. Even if Wilhelm was extremely conservative in his displays of power and his willingness to use it.

At Allen's request, Wilhelm turns back to Allen, and nods. ]

If you wish. Your priority, however, is Miss Suzumiya.

Action, sometime after Allen dropped her off

[technologic]

[If there was one thing April wasn't expecting to happen today, it was to be knocked out and dragged away somewhere. Which is why when she finally wakes up and pushes herself upright, she's rather confused and disorientated.]

Ugh, what the hell...?

[temptestament]

*Wilhelm will get a sense that Allen's smiling faintly behind his mask. There are reasons he puts faith in Wilhelm even through all of the morally questionable things he orders, and things like this are one of them.*

Don't worry about that, I'll make sure she's safe.

[oforder]

I was hoping you would come to, soon.

[ Wilhelm responded, seated on a nearby armchair in the library, the Compass neatly set down on a chairside table. ]

April, wasn't it? You are safe. Good.

[oforder]

Go, then. I am not sure when the monsters will be here. I'll watch over April in the meanwhile.

[technologic]

[April glances over at him, frowning faintly. She's still a bit disorientated and she's starting to feel the sting of the wounds she had gotten, but she gets onto her feet and stands up.]

... You sent that masked guy to get me, right? Why? [She seems more confused than annoyed.]
