Crash bang boom [video]
[Francisca's in the library and looking increasingly concerned as she speaks at the terminal, bookcases rattling behind her.]
What's going on?! An earthquake??
Everyone please head for open space, quic-
[A particularly hard shake sends the bookcases falling and Francisca looks behind her too late as one comes crashing down, letting out a shout as it falls right on her, sending her head knocking hard across the terminal, a smear of blood coating the camera as she falls unconscious under the desk. The bookcase is barely held up by the terminal, its contents falling in a pile over the woman, and the screen flickers from the weight.
Another crash, another bookcase, the computer is destroyed and the feed with it.]

Hoy! Anyone in here? You need to get downstairs in a hurr--
[Then he spots blood in an area surrounding some collapsed bookcases. There's a quick swear, and he quickly moves over to start heaving shelves and books out of the way.]
If you're awake under there, hang in there!

He doesn't recognize the hand, but the lack of movement makes things frantic. Joker's strength isn't quite what it normally is, which makes moving the shelves trickier, but not impossible. He'll keep shouting, though.]
C'mon, wake up! Gimme a sign of life, something! Please!

He's jarred a bit once he uncovers her, though.]
...Francisca? Francisca!

He clears the remaining books off, and carefully scoops her up - one arm under legs, the other under her back.]
Hang in there... We should be able to get down to safety easily enough.
[And he's off toward the door and stairwell, mentally thankful for the armor covering his face, and hiding the anxiety welling up with the whole situation.]

There's another tremor running through the tower, and the distant cacophony of monsters on the loose.]

He'll just be praying that there's something that will hold the creatures back long enough for him to make it.]

Hello?! Please groan if you are conscious!

Di finally reaches the terminal desk, but has yet to notice her.]

She then tries her best to slowly remove the obstacle.]

She balled up her fists and quickly smashed the furniture out of the way from the poor bleeding girl. Making sure not to get most of the debris on her, she cradled the girl into her arms.]

There is a quiet gurgling growling noise coming from the bookshelves though, and if Disciple turns she will see the Imp crouching there, the completely black figure having attempted to mimic Francisca's form with minimal success. It's white eyes keep falling out of their sockets, and black lips curl back to reveal jagged fangs, hissing as it throws random books at Disciple.]

The Imp falls back from the heavy book, a sick crack sounding as part of it's face is caved in. It shrieks with rage and pain, flinging more books at Disciple as it gives chase, even flinging one of it's white eyes at her back.]

Thankfully the exit was a couple of steps away!]

He would shout her name out, but it looked like she got knocked out.] Jesus fuck, worst place to be during an earthquake.

They would eventually be him, anyways. He knew his loops were stable, and it made this process a little faster. He was more worried about how injured Francisca was.]

Oh my god. Did they seriously make you guys exist here? [He is just going to take you down while the other Daves excavate Francisca out.] You guys are like the most useless monsters. You're like here to be annoying and not dangerous.

Meanwhile, there's a low hiss and a gigantic dictionary flung in Alpha Dave's direction. Another Imp has emerged from the depths of the library, this one a bit larger than the first, clearly copying a man. The spiky hair, baseball cap and ridiculously pointy glasses might be familiar to Dave, even if it's a very poor perverse copy of Bro, fangs protruding from its mouth as it snarls at the kid.]

Fucki-[He stops and stares at the imp. Is this a joke? This has got to be a fucking joke, because it's a terrible one and wow. Like he needs to be reminded of Bro right now. Dave just grits his teeth and runs towards it, sword ready. It was just annoying at first, but now this was fucking personal.
Dave didn't even know he might have been screaming. He just wanted it dead.]

A dark head pokes out from a bookshelf behind the Bro Imp, the tousled hair and jagged buckteeth a poor imitation of John, white eyes constantly bulging out of their sockets. This little Imp takes one of his eyes and flings it at Dave's face with a low shriek.]

This entire whale breach is nothing but taxing on Dave's physical and emotional endurance. He's just going to sleep for days after this. At least he really hopes he'll get too.]
