It's a language that was created composed entirely of different signs and gestures you make with your hands. It's one of the primary methods of communication for those that are deaf or mute.

Oh, I see. I've mostly used writing since it happened. I was not aware of sign language.

It's very useful, since it doesn't require carrying around any implements. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how useful it would be, as I don't know how many people around here know it. I myself only know a little bit... but I suppose it's worth a try, if you want.
