4th Recipe - Potluck [Video/Action]

Hello, everyone! Eheh, I don't know how many people are watching right now, so I figured I'd put this up early and hopefully people will see ahead of time? In any case, I'm really happy the kitchen has food again!

[Kazumi's cheery face breaks off into a bit of a sheepish laugh]

...even if it all kind of pumpkin-related.

[But she brightens up again quickly enough]

Still, it's a big help! Everyone really chipped in and helped make sure no one starved last month, but even so, I didn't realize how hard it would be to cook without flour or salt! Since it's not like we could make that ourselves here... luckily, that's exactly the sort of things we have again now! And there's still some things left-over from a few days ago in the refrigerators, so we don't have to make everything pumpkin flavor...

In any case, this is an invitation for dinner tonight! I'll be cooking a whole lot, so anyone is welcome to come. I'd especially like to extend invitation to Enoch and any of the Puella Magi here, either that I have or haven't met, since Saber would really like to meet you guys, but anyone is welcome.

Oh, and I guess for the people who still don't know! I can be found down in the kitchen around meal times, so if you don't like what the cafeteria is serving, I'd be more than happy to help out? Well, I hope to see everyone soon!

[In the evening, Kazumi can be found to have set out something of a feast in the cafeteria. About half the food ended up being pumpkin related anyway, but there's other things too, even if they're kind of simple. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join in, tag others, etc, just like the other open party log, even if it's soon after... mostly this is because Saber wanted to meet Enoch and Kazumi's Puella Magi friends.]

Eheh... I may have gone a little overboard. It's just so nice to have all the staples of cooking again!

Ah, I'm so sorry! I thought I was early, but I seem to be running later than I thought.

You are not late. Kazumi has simply made a feast for kings.

*Enoch arrives after hearing his own name. He doesn't know who this "Saber" is, but if they want to meet him...maybe they're someone else who's had their soul removed...

...and is again astounded by the amount of food there. She must have spent all day on this...but it seems she had help, at least.*

[Saber, help cook her own meals? Haha. This is why she's taken Kazumi on as her vassal. She's just helping set things out. The five-foot tall knight looks up as the man approaches.]

Welcome and sit. I hope you are hungry; Kazumi has prepared a feast befitting a king.

Oh, right, that's coming up, isn't it? I wonder if there will be trick-or-treating here!

Well, some variety anyway... everything on the menu this month seems to be pumpkin-related, so we don't really have many other flavors besides what we bring in from the tower. But at least we have things like sugar, nutmeg and vanilla.

Heheh, no, no, you're just in time!

[Kazumi is cheerful as every about it]

I just got done setting everything out.

Thanks, that would be a big help... since it doesn't seem like there's any meat at all in the kitchen. And you probably don't want to be eating entirely vegetarian either, huh?

[Pointing out the problem with that statement doesn't even occur to Kazumi by this point] Right, then I'll leave that to you! It'll be even better now that I can make real sauces and everything now... even just being able to thicken the gravy is a big help. I guess it's true; you don't realize how important some things are until you don't have them!

Indeed. There is much I did not realize I would miss until I was awaiting death to take me. This is a simpler matter, but none the less important.

It's...certainly that, *he remarks, still eyeing the large spread as he finds a seat. If this person helped Kazumi, she'd know about the invitations, right?* Ah, I was invited specifically. Someone named Saber wanted to meet me...

If there isn't, I'm planning on having a Halloween party! It's kind of hard to trick-or-treat in a tower when there aren't exactly any other houses around.

Kazumi is my vassal. As her liege lord, her condition is of importance to me. I have been told you possess the ability to cleanse her.

Eheh, I guess that's a more serious example... [She's a bit surprised, but she suppose she shouldn't be. Saber was a servant in a war... well, and also a heroic spirit from the past? So she probably... died way back then.] At least you got a second chance though? Getting summoned. And we got a second chance with food~

Well, we could go room-to-room! But a party sounds fun too.

I fight for a second chance. Being summoned is not a second chance in itself as I have a master I must obey and the knowledge that I will lose those I care for during the course of the War.

Ohhh... well, a chance for a second chance! I hope you make it.
