Um, good morning.

[ She gives the screen a tentative smile, but it's hard for her to get used to these terminals. It wasn't at all like talking to a real person. ]

There seem to be a lot of people who are new, so I wanted to say that if anyone would like something grown, I can help -- I'd like to help. I know we have the forest and the meadow levels but sometimes it's nice to have a bit of greenery in other places too, right?

Also, if anyone's wanted something different to eat since I know there's been a lot of pumpkins in the cafeteria lately!

You mean those outlandishly hued vegetables that now litter the cafeteria with their massive girth? They certainly don't look delectable.

I've been trying a few different things. What kind of flowers do you like best?

Yes, those are the right ones. You can make a lot of really good things with them, but even a Sadida like me can't eat them as a complete diet.

What is a "Sadida" to be exact, and what sort of dishes can you make out of such a hideous plant?

Flowers, flowers.... Sonata likes, um... they're big and puffy-looking and come in pink and red and white, and... and they start with a "D"! Sonata doesn't remember the name....

Oh, I'm a Sadida! It's just a kind of person from my world.

But pumpkins can be very versatile. They're make delicious pie, and you can make pumpkin stew, or cook pieces over a fire.

No, it was much more than that. My people are connected with nature, so I've been growing and helping plants grow ever since I was born.

Pumpkin stew? Now why would one go out of their way to make it both a pie and stew? That's quite unusual.

A-Ah, yes. There aren't so many people here with hair that is bright in any colour, are there?

If you mix it with spices and sugar and bring it down to a soft butter, it makes a really good filling for pie. But if you cook it with broth and other vegetables it makes a stew that fills you up even on the coldest nights.

Not from what I've seen thus far.

[ Amalia's hair honestly reminded Haldir of the vast plains that exist just beyond the gates of Caras Galadhon. So green is the grass there, beautiful and sparkling within the morning mist. It's a strange hue for a human, but perhaps a typical color for a Sadida. Either way, it's interesting nonetheless. ]

Such a strange vegetable. Perhaps, if offered, I'll sample either dishes at my leisure.
