Okay, first thing's first role call. [ ignoring the fact that she looks like this right now. She's trying to keep herself alive and well trying not to hurt anyone else. She was trying her best to help out and all that good stuff. Well, keyword was tried. She might not like where this was going. ]

If I kind of know ya, or we've talked before, please tell me you guys are okay? No one's hurt right? The place has been really annoyingly weird, especially with these annoying costumes and freaky ways of dying. If you need healing or anything at all, please tell me so I can get to you. To all the people I know very well and we're really good friends or something, please tell you're okay as well and I need to know where you guys are cuz I'm seriously going to start freaking the hell out if I can't find anyone.

I hate this month.......

[ There's a momentary pause before Ishtar turned around, feeling a shadow creeping up on her. There's a surprised jump, knocking off the computer as the large monster made its way onto the screen before it turned off with Ishtar leaping out of the way of being swiped.]

[Dressed in this, Elian doesn't exactly look too happy about it either. He's pulling on the buckles but they won't budge. He gives up and sighs.]

It's too weird.

Yeah, I totally agree with you sweetie.

[ She sighed tugging the fabrics. ] At least, you're covered?

[ She nervously laughed. His costume was rather interesting. ]

At least you appear more aesthetically pleasing than me looking like something that stepped out of the woods after a battle with some weird creature. I feel like I should be running with wolves or riding on one.

[And no, he's not going to even talk about that either.]

This is not aesthetically pleasing? I feel like I'm not wearing anything.

[ She furrowed her brows a little before stifling back a little laugh. ]

....ahahhaah, you really do in that costume?

[ She replied trying to make light of things. Ishtar wanted to know bit she didn't push it. ]

Well, it would look better on a person with your physique than someone like me. I can't wear those things well.

[At least he's trying to make light of it even if it's embarrassing.]

A trade would be a bad idea. Um...I did once. I'm a bit slow to keep up.

Ah well.......ahahaha I can't see you wearing something awkward like this.

[ She giggled briefly as he said that. She didn't seem to mind that he was trying to make it sound better than it was. ]

Ah, I see. Well, I wold trade costumes with you if I could, but for one it's attached to me and two it's not really something a boy should be wearing...haaha.

[The trade, or even the idea of it, made Elian shrink just a little bit.]

Um...not really. It really doesn't help if I have to look at you in person. I think it's better we talk on video. At least you can just show your face and not everything else.

[ She was joking about it, so he didn't have to take it seriously. Ishhtar just chuckled a little. ]

Yeah...I guess you have a point there. I'd rather not be running around with this stuff on.

[ She replied laughing nervously. ]

*Enoch may have the urge to kill sinners. But it doesn't erase his heroism regarding those that are innocent, either because they are or because he simply doesn't (yet) know they've sinned. So here he is, forgetting he's at the edge of sanity and, as with his roommate yesterday, dashing from terminal to terminal trying to find the innocent in danger.*

[ Ishtar happened to be having tons of fun trying to dodge all the swipes that were being thrown at her while falling on her butt. This was not fun, not at all.

She ended up leaving the terminals and trying to escape somehow out of the library ]

*Monsters being rare during the day (until they became attracted to terminals, at least), their activity stood out. All he had to do was follow the monsters - if they were moving that way, they must be after someone. So he started to attack them from behind the moment he was caught up.*

[ It was freakishly strange that these things were attracted to the terminals. It was the first time she's ever heard of that. Ishtar didn't find it pleasant at all as she rolled out of the way. She was glad that someone came to her aid, even though she didn't really ask for it. It was nice, really nice, since she didn't know if she could handle things on her own. ]

*When Enoch had attracted some attention to himself, he backed up to separate them from the battle. As much as he wanted to protect the other (not seeing a weapon on her), he had to get through the monsters first. It was a good thing they had as much trouble aiming at him as one would expect given the glow making it hard to look directly at him.*

[ Ishtar was having a hard time avoiding the the things to notice the glow but when she saw it, her eyes started to hurt a little. At least, the glowing was better than her ninja costume, which was in every possible way revealing. She was not enjoying it at all.

Eventually, getting annoyed, she pulls the sword out from its sheath and slashed at them in irritation. It seemed practically normal that she was killing monsters now, which was weird. ]

*His own weapon buzzes through the air as he swings it at the monsters. The ones that emerge during the day usually aren't so fearsome, so it's no surprise that between the two of them they're all defeated quickly.*

Are you all right?

[ Ishtar sighed sheathing her sword, and running a hand through her hair. This shitty attire was getting on her nerves as well. She looked over at him and gave him a small smile. ]

Ah, thank you....and yeah I am fine, how about you?

I have...been of sounder mind. *He doesn't smile in return, sighing quietly.* But the monsters weren't able to harm me, no.

That's good. [ Ishtar lowered her eyes a little. ]

I'm glad. I didn't think that someone would jump in to help me out. I was going try and make a run for it, but thank you again.

*Enoch shook his head.* Think nothing of it. I wouldn't leave anyone defenseless.

Ah, you're very kind, thank you still. I hope I wasn't distracting you from anything important.

Not at all...

*In fact, Ishtar, you may have saved him some time, helped him sublimate some of these urges to kill people on monsters, even if he doesn't know the term or the psychological process. He doesn't know the terms or the reality, but he knows the pattern.*

Every distraction now is a welcome one.

Oh, okay.

[ She replied with a small smile. She didn't know that but she would be happy if she knew, though.

Ishtar looked around for a moment. ] So we're good right? Nothing else is coming?

*Enoch shifted, looking warily around them.* It seems so. They're gathering around terminals lately.

So that's why I almost got killed by them...jeez. This place is so weird.

[ she replied quietly sheathing Sidia back and looking around. ]

*There didn't seem to be others following them, at least.*

I think it may be an attempt to keep us from gathering information. The network is a good place to gradually build information over the course of a day or two.

[ Ishtar was actually pretty glad for that. ]

Maybe you're right. It seems like they were trying to keep me from something...

It is only the aggressive monsters drawn to them, it seems.

*Probably to keep people from coordinating candy-gathering and working together.*

Yeah, what the hell is up with that?!

[ That too, since she noticed that as well. ]

It must be an effort to keep us from gathering our information in one place.

If that's what they're trying to do, then there are more reasons to stop them. Those stupid monsters and this Tower are getting on my nerves....

If only we knew how.

We'll come up with something eventually, right? It's not like this is completely impossible.

Right. We need to wait until we have an opportunity to learn.

*It has happened before, to him. Several times. Sometimes he had to wait several years. This was just under half of one. But waiting here was much, much more difficult than settled somewhere, biding time and living a life under a new name. That was normal, routine, relatively safe...*

Yeah. That's what I'm trying to do.

[ The same for Ishtar. She could understand where he was coming from and could probably relate if he ever told her that. Though, the second part, she wasn't quite sure how to interpret that, seeing she didn't have much experience with that. Either way, if it was said, then she'd definitely try to understand, if not then she would just remain the same as always. ]
