Is it...over? Is everybody okay?
[Labrys was hesitant, speaking like she was either upset over something or just hadn't wanted to record video in the first place. The mechanical girl's red eyes didn't quite look at the camera, slightly downcast.]
Uh--listen, if anybody's got time, I could kinda use some help. If anyone knows stuff about fixin' machinery, could ya meet me somewhere? It ain't hard, I can tell ya what needs repairin' and all that.
[She paused as if considering whether to end it there or not.]
...And, uh...Hidetoshi? Can I talk to ya when y' got a minute?

Hurt me? [ He echoed. Hidetoshi... hadn't encountered Labrys since the cafeteria. So why was she afraid she had harmed him? Perhaps she had been affected by the recent game forced upon them by the management? That could be it. He shook his head. ] I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about. I'm fine. Minor bruises such as these fade quickly, given some time.
[ Honestly, she looks worse than he does. ]

[Labrys blinked, looking up again.So he really couldn't tell it was her then. She'd expected as much, or at least that they'd heard different things when the other talked. It wasn't a surprise, but she had more expected that he'd at least seen her.]
I get it. So y' didn't know that was me you were fightin...? You were with that wolf that started bustin' up my arm, an' I had to get away before we really hurt each other.

[ He scowled; he hadnt meet Labrys during the event, he was sure of that. Hidetoshi had spent the majority of the event post-death either attacking monsters or searching for anybody who wasn't warped by the costume they had perished in. He hadn't found anybody and it wasn't like Labyrys was easy to miss, considering she had a gigantic metal axe somehow attached to her back, and the strangest sense of fashion he'd seen that wasn't Halloween-induced...
"You were with that wolf that started justin' up my arm, an' I had to get away before we really hurt each other."
Wait. If he hadn't crossed paths with her, there was no feasible way she could be aware he'd been given a wolf as a tedious, half-rabid crazed familiar. That scowl of his is morphing into a version of dawning shock. The only things the wolf had attacked had been Shadows or Lancer-san when he had been in his way. That meant... his costume had screwed his perception of events and the people much, much than he had originally thought. He regained his composure quickly, but the momentary shocked slip in his calm had been there for all to see. ]
—Your arm was injured by that creature? [If that was true, then that would mean a certain amount of guilt on his part and he did not like guilt. He needed to confirm it; ] ... Labrys-san, what was the first thing I said to you when we encountered each other during this event staged by the administrators?
[ There was a sinking knot twisting itself slowly inside the depths of his stomach. Hidetoshi had fought a fair deal of what he had believed to be Shadows, and if his hunch was correct, just how many of them had actually been monsters? ]

[It was a little tricky to remember for a minute, given how hectic the entire incident was.]
I think y'told me to stay away from ya. Then when I tried to tell ya t' stop actin so weird, you acted like I was just makin' noise at you or somethin'.

[ He racks his brain for any recollection of demanding anybody stay away from him during the candy game... It takes him to a long couple of seconds to pinpoint that memory. On the video screen, he pales. Oh, that; one of the very first Shadow-things he had ran across. He'd been being pursued by the oversized wolf right then, hadn't he? ]
That was... From my perspective, all I saw was some kind of a fiery ox-monster blocking my path and roaring angrily at me. There was no words I could understand. [ And he was sorta terrified out of his mind, so there was that. ] So... You were the one I was actually fighting at the time?

[Her voice faltered at those words, and if Labrys had been able to turn any paler herself she very well might have.]
Y...yeah, that was me. That was...what my Shadow looked like, back home. Or at least the thing she fought with.

That's the... [ how did Rise put it again so vague ] The repressed part of yourself you need to accept in order to obtain a being known as a Persona, correct? [ Labrys represses a giant fiery ox-monster? What was much more important actually; Labrys was from his world? The same dimension as Rise's team and the Minato(s) and himself? ]

See, when I confronted my Shadow a while ago, it ended up lookin' kinda like you just described. She went an' called up this big flaming minotaur thing.

So Shadow can mutate or call other Shadows to their assistance? And somehow when under the effects of my costume, I saw you as such a creature even if I had no prior knowledge of what your Shadow's form or underling was.
