daves been gone a while now.
a part of me hopes he isnt coming back.

on the off chance that he does come back though.
i figured you should all know something real important.
his birthdays on dec 3rd.
and if hes back by then you should all show him how much you fuckin appreciate him.

feels like just yesterday i was pickin him up off that meteor.

Back in the beginning one of the experiments made me and some other people lose hope. After that I decided I didn't want things to be like that ever again. [And it's for those same peoples' sake that she wishes to stay optimistic, so that they won't be troubled either by worry or by their own moods being dragged down.]
