Is anyone else here significantly older chronologically then they appear physically? If so, how does it effect your life?

I'll make sure to ask mommy next time I see her.
Since I imagine the first step will be getting Shirou to see me as a woman rather then a little girl.

I agree. Perhaps adopting a more mature air will aid you.
[...not that Irisviel doesn't have her own childish moments, but she has an excuse. Illya's experienced far more.]
Capturing a man's attention is not just in looks, but also in the way you carry and present yourself.

I guess I could stop calling Shirou "Onii-chan." That might be a good first step.

Agreed. If you wish him to look past the familial aspect, it would do you well to not hand the imagery directly to him.

I'll try and act and dress more mature overall. That way, by the time I actually confess how I feel to Shirou, it might push him toward accepting my feelings.

Do not rush that, Illyasviel. Too soon and it will ruin what you do have with him.
...keep in mind there are things worse than being just family, even if you wish for more.
[There is a slight loneliness to Saber's words just then.]

I know, so I won't be sad if Shirou doesn't want to be more then family... I'll still love him either way.

[There's a small honest smile from Saber.]
That is a sentiment I understand well.

The one I loved was married. It was not to be.

That is rough, I at least have a chance of Shirou loving me back.

I doubt that will come to pass, but I thank you for the kindness.
