[ His phone vibrates. He takes it out, and glancing at his Diary again, he blinks. ]

... actually, just throwing it off the side of the tower on the eleventh floor is faster and safer than both of those.

[ How did his Diary just now show him this? ... that's not a good sign. ]

[ Yuno doesn't necessarily trust the diaries anymore, especially since she can't use hers and has to stalk Yukki the old fashioned way. ]

[ He hesitates for a moment, but then... holds out his hand, offering it to her. ]

[ And Yuno takes it happily with a grin, holding onto the skull with the other hand. ]

Don't let go, Yukki. Alright?

[deusexyandere]

Y-Yeah. Of course I won't.

[ Don't look at the skull... don't look at the skull... don't look at the skull... ]

[ That sure is reassuring... ]

Okay, then. Let's go. You can lead the way, Yukki!

[ His fingers lace with hers, and they're off. Thankfully, night hadn't fallen yet, so their chances of encountering a monster are low. Mostly. He occasionally stops to glance down at his Diary, which hadn't vibrated since the last time. At the stairway between the eighth and ninth floor, he pauses. ]

[ Yuno skids to a stop once he speaks up. She gives him a small smile before tilting her head to the side, speaking up curiously. ]

What is it, Yukki? You know you can ask me anything.

[deusexyandere]

You don't still think I don't really love you, do you?

[obsessing]

[ Yuno then falls completely silent for a moment, hanging her head down as she continues to walk, though her pace has definitely slowed down. ]

I'm sorry, Yukki. I... don't know how to answer that.

[deusexyandere]

... of course not.

[ He looks down, clearly upset by her words. But they were almost there, anyway. ]
