[Elizabeth looks rather frazzled, and paying not attention in the slightest to what is going on around her. She doesn't even seem to be aware that she is being filmed through her open dorm door. Instead she's clutching a sheet to her like grim death. No, this is not alright. None of this is alright. Waking up in this place was purely awful.]
Lady Kat? Walsingham? Lord Burghley?
[as far as she knows, she's talking to an empty room. She doesn't want to move to far because this... this thing is not clothing. She cannot go out like this. As a woman she might rule alone, but she was used to people, used to her ladies being only a room away -- and her guards. But as far as she could tell no one was coming. Sitting on her bed, in the small room that certainly wasn't what she was used to, she drew her knees up to her chest.]
Anyone... at all? [she sighs, grumbling under her breath. Not so much scared as... frustrated and overwhelmed. This felt like being in the tower all over again just... cleaner.]

( ᴠɪᴅᴇᴏ )
...My lady? [He calls to her quietly in hopes of not startling her.] Is all well?
( ᴠɪᴅᴇᴏ )
She looks up, alarmed, wondering what man would dare enter her presence without invitation when she wasn't even dressed properly.]
Who goes there? [she honestly has no idea where the voice is coming from. She can't see anyone.] Are you a spectre?
( ᴠɪᴅᴇᴏ )
[Haldir still doesn't know how to explain this sort of technology. He never really liked the computers much. Especially since they're a "gift" from the Administrators.]
( ᴠɪᴅᴇᴏ )
Alright... [strange faraway voice, she'll do what you say.] Screen as in... glass? [she kept walking, tentatively poking her head out the door, trying to see if there was anyone else around. Then for a 'screen' that he might mean.] Screen, screen.
[hopefully she was getting closer to him. Hopefully.]
( ᴠɪᴅᴇᴏ )
[He could hear her getting closer by every second.]
Keep going towards the end of the hall.
[If he wasn't currently on one of the upper floors, Haldir would've just appeared before her.]
( ᴠɪᴅᴇᴏ )
Is... that you? [Never mind his appearance she couldn't... figure out how a portrait could move in such a way. Very slowly she touched the screen where his face was and then dropped her hand away.] My God, what devilry is this?
... Hello? Do you need any help?
My lady...? [it was a woman she heard, someone at least. That was better than sitting in her room empty.]
Re: [Video]
Well a moving picture. She's a woman whose seen only of court after all. Seen many, many beautiful things at court too. But she's never seen this -- and for a moment she stares.] How... how are you -- what devilry is this?
But I can see your face, clearer than a portrait. Your voice. How do you make letters speak?
...Um, is it okay if I go and meet you where you are?
Permavid;
Permavid;
... Could you... explain to me what this place is? [clinging to her sheet, so damn uncomfortable. But that can come after she's sorted this all out.]

Who would dare take advantage of a innocent woman in such a way?

I mean in particular, why myself and why here?

By whose authority are we -- since we are all the same -- imprisoned? By what charge?
And what verdict will be passed? [she really means to ask will they be executed. Because that in the end is what she understands imprisonment to mean.
No. God no. Not again. She'd done so much to be thrown back into that awful uncertain place, she could not bear it.]

So this is not in the fashion of a normal imprisonment at all. If there is no verdict passed... [right, throwing that analogy out the window. She sighs.] Yet apparently we must undergo tortures.
This is most strange.

You're telling me.
1/5 choo-choo here comes the backtag train

He quickly makes to click away but--]
3/5
He keeps watching, despite his morals. He can make out red hair in the video.]
4/5
There's a very heavy weight in his chest that's slowly pulling his heart down into his stomach. Not her. Not here.
Maybe it isn't. Maybe it's trickery of the Tower (of course, that's what he thought about America, as well). Maybe she's like Ruler -- some unrecognisable new version of an older entity. Maybe she's just some random redhead woman from centuries ago that happens to look and sound like her.
Maybe she's anyone except the person England is trying to convince himself he's not seeing.]
5/5 [voice]
My lady.
[Despite himself, there's a slight tremble to his voice. He thus clears his throat before continuing.] It may- pardon, if I may offer some advice-- you might be interested in the contents of the trunk, at the foot of your bed.
[It doesn't take a genius to see how she's holding that sheet around her.]
Oh yes, yes of course. I should of looked there first. [But this was a little too much when she was in a room like she'd never even seen.] My thanks, my lord. [whoever he is.]
... May I ask what place it is I've found myself?
[voice]
I do not require thanks, rest assured.
You've found yourself in a place called 'tower designation animus'. Have you read the notes by your bed? They're hardly very detailed, but they inform you of the basics.
No... I have not yet, I shall do so after I get... dressed again.
[voice]
If you would like to get dressed first, I shall be here when you return. There's-- quite a bit you'll need to know from here on out.
--and, ah- ensure the door closes properly behind you. [It's a trivial concern (hell, her ladies dressed her every day), but he doesn't want the whole of the network seeing her.]
video
...Sorry, don't think I've met anyone who goes by those things.
video
Well, that is that then.
Re: video
[A pause.]
You just arrived, didn't you?
Re: video
[she's fiddling with the sheet.] Wherever this place is.
Re: video
[He pauses, letting all this sink in.]
But I don't believe them.
video
Destroyed... what to you mean destroyed?
Re: video
[He still can't completely buy it, even given the nightmarish visions that the viewing scopes had shown him.]
