I was hoping for a specific kind, like maybe if some higher being is doing all of that, or someone figured out resurrection spells, if those exist.

I made her too busy to protect me, she couldn't even protect herself. We had a chance to run, and I pushed her into fighting. I was so weak, I couldn't even make myself useful.
