During the past week, when we were thinking differently, I told some people that I have a wife and children.

That isn't true, and I didn't mean to mislead anyone. I've never married, and I have no children. My apologies.

It's not much but it's nice to hear you say that, really.

Sometimes, it's something people do to get rid of the pain, to pretend that there was a time when they were happy and not in pain.

I don't think it's selfish at all. Especially, when you've got such a condition.
