At least I can see from the last couple of experiments that the worst parts usually come during the middle of the month. As long as you survive that part, you should be okay.

A calendar would certainly be useful. If anything, it could show some sort of schedule for the administrators' activities.

It has days and nights. And the administrators make announcements of the dates on certain festivals. Maybe we could wait for the next festival and start there?

Like cards that compel you to do whatever is written on them. With the administrators' love of mind tricks, I would not put it past them.
