I thought, since everyone is kind of hurting after what the administrators did, that I would try to cheer everyone up by singing. So, this is a song I wrote.

[To the world that may end, that taught everything.

Demise hides the star that seeks the end of the world.
They lament that life comes to an end.
And yet, people dream, singing the praises of life.

The illusion is at the end of the dream everybody wished for.
I am a phantom. Everything is fake.
The phantom song is the voice that draws out emotion.
Spinning the deception is the one true song.

At least if it is a dream, it can take on a desired form, to all people.

To the world that taught everything to I who knew nothing.

I was a deception but
this feeling, if nothing else, was surely real after all.

[While she's singing, she's clear and strong, but after she's done she goes back to fidgeting as she speaks.] I hope that some of you liked it. Um, that's all I had to say.

Because you weren't willing to kill?

Um. It's more like they had a weapon that was really good against things like me... This was before I had 'thought'.

But being killed isn't so bad.

[...ah, that's right. She vaguely recalls V/V explaining her origins as a plant. She didn't realize how serious it was, though.]

Maybe. I guess someone who can just come back from the dead would start to think that. That doesn't mean you should accept it. [She shakes her head.] Your weight holds the same weight as anyone else. It should hold more weight, 'cause you're responsible for it. It's not the kind of thing you should just throw away.

It's not like I'm running into monsters. But I think if I had to choose between me living or a real person living then I'd pick the real person.

Yeah, but you're still selling yourself short here. There's a difference between "being human" and "being a real person."

Oh, that's not what I mean. There aren't a lot of complete humans where I come from.
