I need to spar with someone.

Floor of your choice. I'll be using my sword only - I don't waste bullets on people - and my demons will only come out if there's deadly intent, which will not end well for you so I really don't recommend it.

[Yeah, April has no clue what happened since she ignored his conversation with Dante, but she can tell something is up.]

Meadow floor? And I won't use my powers either.

That's fair. I can't fix my sword very easily or buy a new one.

And if I ever did break it, I can repair it anyway. So I'll see you there?

I'll be down in about an hour - I think it'll take more than one spar to work this off and I should see if anyone else replies too. But you'll be first.

I shall not mind sparring with you on the twenty-fifth floor. Is that alright with you?

Meadow as well. That's fine - I'll be ready for you in an hour and a half.

[And in an hour, he'll be at the meadow.]

[And she'll arrive on time, hands in her coat pockets as she walks over to him.]

What happened?

Lucifer's gone from the tower. He has a grave in the graveyard floor, so it's not just temporary. And I got into a stupid argument.

Alright then. I shall be waiting for you there in an hour and a half then. Hopefully I can help.

[And, in an hour and a half, chaos will be standing in the meadow, waiting for his friend. It had been awhile since he had done something like this..but he should still be fine. He would just have to be careful and not hurt Aleph too badly.]

[She winces slightly, expression turning sympathetic.] ... I'm sorry. And who did you argue with?

[After fighting April, Aleph simply stayed on the same floor, and wandered over to chaos.] Afternoon.

The guy who hit on you. He called him a piece of shit.

[chaos will nod at Aleph as he walked over.]

Good afternoon. How would you like to start?

How do you usually fight? I don't see a weapon on you, but I know better than to think that makes you unarmed.

I fight barehanded..and with what the people in my universe call 'Ether'. It is basically high-tech magic. You do not have to worry about me. I shall be alright.

[chaos readied his hands, ready to snap them whenever Aleph was ready.]

[Another wince, and now she looks... well, almost guilty.] I'm sorry... I didn't think he would be that much of a complete ass.

[She sighs and shrugs off her coat, probably making this the first time he's seen her without it, and places her hand on the hilt of the machete at her belt.] Guess it's understandable why you're pissed, then.

[Aleph raises his sword.]

On your mark.

Not your fault. I'll be all right after I blow off some steam.

[He draws his sword.] Tell me when you're ready.

[She pulls the machete from her belt and shifts into a more battle-ready position.] Ready when you are.

Alright.

[Without further warning, he charges her, swinging his sword in a wide arc towards her right side.]

[And that machete will be coming up the block his sword, and even though it's her bad leg, it doesn't mean that she can't use it to try to aim a knee at his side.]

Get set..and go then.

[chaos will then snap his fingers, sending a beam of energy at Aleph.]

[He could probably break through her defense if she wasn't trying to knee him, but since she is he backs off only to stab at her side.

His sword is longer than her machete, and he'll take advantage of that.]
