I need to spar with someone.

Floor of your choice. I'll be using my sword only - I don't waste bullets on people - and my demons will only come out if there's deadly intent, which will not end well for you so I really don't recommend it.

Alright then. I shall be waiting for you there in an hour and a half then. Hopefully I can help.

[And, in an hour and a half, chaos will be standing in the meadow, waiting for his friend. It had been awhile since he had done something like this..but he should still be fine. He would just have to be careful and not hurt Aleph too badly.]

[After fighting April, Aleph simply stayed on the same floor, and wandered over to chaos.] Afternoon.

[chaos will nod at Aleph as he walked over.]

Good afternoon. How would you like to start?

How do you usually fight? I don't see a weapon on you, but I know better than to think that makes you unarmed.

I fight barehanded..and with what the people in my universe call 'Ether'. It is basically high-tech magic. You do not have to worry about me. I shall be alright.

[chaos readied his hands, ready to snap them whenever Aleph was ready.]

[Aleph raises his sword.]

On your mark.

Get set..and go then.

[chaos will then snap his fingers, sending a beam of energy at Aleph.]

[A beam can be tracked, and sidestepped even if by a hair. It takes a moment to snap your fingers. So far so good.

Aleph swings his sword towards chaos. He doesn't worry that he doesn't seem as armored as Aleph.]

[chaos could be fast when he wanted and needed to be. Quickly, he sidestepped the blade and, using an Electro Upper, tried to take a swipe at Aleph.]

[Chaos would punch right into Aleph's sword on the return swing. The sword was made of hardy stuff and could handle a brief shock, but Aleph soon retreated for a brief moment before trying a low thrust.]

[His sword would stab into a ball of ice about the size of a teacup. chaos had summoned it in his hands and put it there just in time.]

You're rather fast.

[With a smile, he jumped to the side, letting go of the iceball before summoning two larger ones in his hands and tossing them at Aleph. He had to gain some distance..]

[Two was fine, though it meant retreating out his sword's range and putting him at a disadvantage. He could use his gun in fights like these if he didn't have the constant worry of running out of ammo, but since he had no magic of his own, he was only capable of close-range combat.]

[Good, he had managed to gain some distance. With that, he jumped into the air and, after summoning a huge boulder made of ice, sent it falling towards Aleph with a snap of his fingers before landing down.]

[That was too big to dodge. Instead, he aimed to take it straight on by charging to where he knew chaos would land. Ideally, there'd be no time for either of them to escape the other's attack.]

[As he landed, chaos braced himself for Aleph's attack. There would be no time to dodge-he would have to take it as best he could and heal when he got a moment. He put up his hands, ready to deal with the blow, wherever it came.]

[The attack was a stab straight towards chaos's stomach. There would be no time for glancing wounds in this fight - he'd have to make his hits count, because he wasn't going to get a lot of them.]

[chaos bit back the pain as he was stabbed in the stomach. Blood flowed from the wound, and, in retaliation, chaos snapped his fingers and sent a beam of energy towards Aleph's chest..but to the right, away from his heart.]

[Far too close to dodge. Aleph grit his teeth as the energy pierced his armor.

Fighting without a healer was very taxing.]

[chaos moved backwards, pulling Aleph's sword out of his wound before gathering white streams of energy into his hands, and, throwing his arms down, bringing that energy down on Aleph.]

[His bloody sword can only block so much of that energy, and Aleph is knocked backwards, barely managing to stay on his feet.

Time spent at range is bad for him, yet he knows he doesn't have the opportunity to land a hit without chaos doing something else to occupy him.]

...you're good.

[chaos smiled as he pressed a hand to his wound. He glowed light green for a moment before removing his hand..the wound was healed.

chaos was a jack-of-all-trades. It was why he was so highly valued on the Elsa.]

Thank you, but I am not as strong as I once was. However, you are not so bad yourself. Not many manage to stab me in the gut.

[An..attempt at humor, followed by another snap of the fingers, and another beam of energy directed at Aleph.]

[That he can dodge, but a mere snap of the fingers isn't a good enough opening.]

The last time I fought someone who could kill me by pointing his finger I had a little more help.

I see..while it is good that you had help then, it is sad that you do not have it now. Not that I am planning on killing you.

[With that, chaos blinked, and, out of nowhere, wings appeared on his back. He flew backwards before sending a rain of energy beams onto Aleph. However, they weren't strong enough to kill him. Having done that, he would then land back on the ground, and his wings would vanish.]

[After the beams faded, Aleph was left propping himself up with his sword, badly bruised and bleeding.]

...I think this is hopeless alone. I give in.

[With that, chaos smiled and nodded.]

Alright then. I accept your loss. You put up a good fight, Aleph.

[chaos walked up to Aleph and, putting a hand on the person's shoulder, healed his wounds.]

Were you able to work off some steam?
