[ Yuno doesn't say a word; instead she just remains there, waiting impatiently, her hand tightly gripped on a knife that sat next to her at all times. ]

[ And sure enough, he was there. He had used his Diary to track her down, so it was out in front of him as he approached her. His voice was quiet, cautious, and meek. ]

[ She stares at him, her eyes wide in surprise. Of course, she saw the diary, but she still needed more proof. She had to hear it directly from his lips.

[ He sighs. He had been thinking of the perfect way to convince her it was him, and he decided on two ways. Rather than choosing one, he chose both. ]

[ Instead of an actual worded reply, Yuno's cheeks turn a bright pink, her hands fiddling with her skirt as she glances away, feeling a little awkward now.

[ He lowers his eyes, remembering everything they went through together. ]

[ He sighs, and forces himself to smile. ]

[ Yuno immediately places her hand in his, feeling a lot more comfortable. At least she's certain that this is her Yukki. ]

[ His hands squeezed hers, trying his hardest to be at least semi-reassuring. ]

This morning.

[ Her voice then becomes more quiet, hushed, and possibly even a little shaky. ]

I think so, Yukki. Everyone I asked... they said it wasn't happening to them.

[ That didn't make sense. He didn't release Yuno's hands. What was important now was keeping her calm. ]

But why would they want to single you out? [ Wait for it... wait for it... it's starting to click... ] Yuno... did you do something to make them mad at you?

[ Her voice is slightly shaken up as she speaks, but she tries her best to be as calm as possible. Though she's on the verge of cracking. ]

[ Yuno is silent for a moment as she nods several times, almost as if she's trying to also reassure herself that everything is fine now, and that the person right in front of her is the real Yukki. ]

[ He doesn't release her. He's more than happy to stay like this with her for as long as she needs. He gently kisses her forehead, and begins stroking the back of her head. ]

Just don't look at anyone else if it helps.

... Okay. I won't look at anyone else, Yukki.

[ That might have sounded weird, coming from him and being directed at her. But in this case, it's necessary for a reason other than paranoia and jealousy. ]

I'll stay here all night if you need me to.

[ Yuno nods several times, almost as if she's trying to reassure herself, but she soon smiles. ]
