[The fatigue and the feeling of unease from after Lancer woke up following his death on the circus floor hadn't gone away with time. If anything, he just felt even worse. In addition, his feet felt strangely hard and heavy, a feeling that progressed as the day dragged on. Trying to eat and drink, if only to taste strange new foods for this month's menu outright burned his mouth. At this point, he could only conclude something was very wrong.]

[However, as a Servant, he wasn't supposed to be vulnerable to human diseases. This narrowed the cause of his current conditon to either an effect of the Tower's experiment for the month, or the effect of some curse. He just had to figure out which one.]

does anyone else in this tower feel like shit
like, kinda sick
always tired
legs sorta heavy
eating or drinking burns your mouth
anyone getting these effects?

[Tohko notices that Lancer is less energetic, and it does not help stop her worrying. However, she'll sigh and scratch her head when she heard that.]

Maybe..but I could at least make you feel better with some medicine or something. And if you can guess as to who did this to you, I could talk with them and find out why they did this!

No, don't.

[His refusal is very firm.]

You'd probably get hurt. I'll go talk to them by myself.

[Tohko sighed again at that statement. Lancer, Tohko can be very, very stubborn when she wanted to be.]

I might be..but I don't mind if I do, if I'm able to help you out. And you probably shouldn't be dealing with a situation like that in your condition. You'll get even more banged up than I would.

[That's not true..but that's Tohko's guess.]

I don't that. I'm a hero. Even when I'm sick, I can still take down an entire army.

[However, it's obvious he's bluffing.]

[That it is. Tohko gives a small smile at that though.]

Lancer, while I don't doubt that you could, it's best to fight at full power when you have to, and not when you're sick. Besides, even heroes have to let the side characters have a moment in the spotlight every now and then!

[He crosses his arms and shakes his head.]

Not this moment, though.

[Oh, if this were in person, she'd be trying to pat him on the head.]

Maybe not..but at least let me try.

I'm pretty sure you won't need to.

I can take care of myself. Really.

[Tohko sighed again as she scratched her head.]

..Then, if you won't tell me who you think is responsible, would you at least allow me to bring you some books that could help distract you from this curse and help you feel better?

Yeah, sure. Drop them outside my room, okay?

Sure! I'll do that..hopefully you'll feel better soon. I'm a simple book girl, but if there's anything else I can do, please let me know, alright? And don't worry about me. I'll be alright.

[After making that post and shutting off the feed, Tohko will then run around the library shelves, picking out a few good books-The Little Prince, a few James Bond novels, Brave Story, Hard-Boiled Wonderland and The End of The World, and Undine-before running off to Lancer's room, carrying the stack with her. She'll then knock on the door.]

[Unfortunately, Lancer will be too busy searching for Tetra around the Tower at this time. He probably won't be back until much later.]

[Tohko, hearing no reply, will sigh, open the door, and leave the books on Lancer's bed before leaving.

She hated feeling so useless..]

[ooc:Don't worry, Lancer. Tomorrow, Tohko will be joining you in this curse and all the horrors that come with it.]
