[The fatigue and the feeling of unease from after Lancer woke up following his death on the circus floor hadn't gone away with time. If anything, he just felt even worse. In addition, his feet felt strangely hard and heavy, a feeling that progressed as the day dragged on. Trying to eat and drink, if only to taste strange new foods for this month's menu outright burned his mouth. At this point, he could only conclude something was very wrong.]

[However, as a Servant, he wasn't supposed to be vulnerable to human diseases. This narrowed the cause of his current conditon to either an effect of the Tower's experiment for the month, or the effect of some curse. He just had to figure out which one.]

does anyone else in this tower feel like shit
like, kinda sick
always tired
legs sorta heavy
eating or drinking burns your mouth
anyone getting these effects?

[Sometimes he really wonders about his roommate and how he could ever be the hero he claims to be. Then, Diarmuid gets something like that response and he can't help but smile and be reassured.]

You know I'll do whatever I can to help. I wish this was something my spear would work on, but we both know how curses work. They don't need connection to a source of energy to stay active.

Are you sure there are no others from their world or a version of their world that you could turn to?

He might have deserved it, Lady, but sometimes it is better not to act on the desire to punish someone. Acting without thinking is what leads to situations like this.

Now, you know this man better than any of us. Is there a way to undo his curse? Might he be convinced somehow to undo it?

it seemed like a good idea at the time and pretty harmless

no he wont lift the curse it would make his message less effective and make him look like a wimp

hes trying to make sure that people fear him and wont interfere

youd have to find somebody that is better with magic than ganon is to heal him

Actually, this all just makes him seem petty and cruel, but I suppose that doesn't matter to one such as he.

My roommate has suggested finding the other Caster class servant in the tower and talking to them to see if their magic might be helpful in this case. It may not be a bad idea for the two of you to meet up and go together. I don't know....would this Gannon try to attack those he cursed or just let the curse run its course?

if he thinks that someone can lift the curse he might attack but other wise he would let it go since hes pretty full of himself

In any event, I would ask you to be careful. For yourself and my roommate. And seek out Caster as soon as you can. I don't know if it will help, but...

Healers are a good place to start. Also, are there any of the masters who are here you might trust enough to take something like this too? The magic is different, obviously, but they might have some ideas we haven't thought of.

Not a bad idea. The Caster I knew was a monster who wouldn't help anyone, but if there is another in the tower, they would probably know and have access to a great many different magic schools. A servant would probably be more able to understand another servant's body as well.

Then I would seek her out as soon as you can since you have no idea how bad the curse will be. Waiting might be fatal for all we know and you've died once recently. I would prefer it not happen again so soon.

It might not be a bad idea to have the girl go with you. I don't know if this man is the kind to finish off his targets while they are weak or if he would just sit back and watch as the curse unfolds.
