Attention participants of The Holy Grail War

I know not everyone has a mailbox set up as they're quite recent, so to ensure everyone receives it, I've put together this survey. If you already have it in your mailbox, you can ignore this, or choose to reply here, it doesn't matter. In addition if you would rather write it down and give it to myself (Waver Velvet) or Lancer (Diarmuid Ua Duibhne), or slip it into either of our mailboxes, that works too. My room number is 1-16 and Lancer's is 4-16.



Please fill this out to the best of your ability. If there is anything you would truly prefer not to state or do not know, there is no worry, but the survey is for the benefit of us all, and therefore it would be best if you were forthcoming. We do not mean these questions to be invasive in any way and have taken great pains in ensuring such. Should you wish to give more detail than what is asked, please do, anything would be greatly appreciated.

Status: The war had ended about a month earlier. I remained in Fuyuki City but did not win the Grail.

Current Status: Aside from keeping up my study of magecraft, this is my goal for now.

3. How did you come to be a part of it?
Kayneth Archibald El-Melloi was an instructor of mine at Clock Tower, rumours had circulated regarding his participation in a magic competition. After intercepting a package containing the catalyst he sent for, I researched the Grail War and travelled to Fuyuki City.

Of course the main purpose of this is to gather relevant information and find out where everyone stands. I would like an agreed upon treaty of peace, and for those who may be inclined to, organise ourselves to better assist others in the tower.

Now I'm starting to get why Saber called a lot of the people from her home world idiots. You really shouldn't go airing your dirty laundry out in public for the world to see unless you want people to catch a whiff of trouble and start poking about.

Status: I guess... "Victor" should be what I put here, right? I won. Other things happened after, but I'd rather not mention them.

Current Status: I don't really have any goals now. Saber and I are partners again, though, so I should probably mention that.

2. A rough timeline of events within your war. I can't really describe everything that happened in my war, with so many participants, but I fought the teams listed above in that order, and that's pretty much it. The only things that happened out of the ordinary were when I tried breaking up a fight between two other teams, and Assassin nearly struck down my Saber before the date of our scheduled battle. After the final battle of the tournament, I also fought an abnormal Servant named "Monster". [There's more to it after, but she's not comfortable talking about it. It involves too much personal stuff to talk about right now.]
3. How did you come to be a part of it? ... I don't really know. [She's sticking with the amnesia thing for now. Again, it still bothers her to talk about personal matters with complete strangers.] I just woke up during the preliminary rounds and got dragged into it from there.
4. Are you a magus? Not really. I was able to use techniques that seem like magic, but it was just advanced hacking.
5. Is there anyone among us you consider yourself to be at odds with? Monster.

The war is already common knowledge - thanks to people like my Servant. It's to reach as many participants as possible, I don't know them all, they don't all have mailboxes, and this is safer than the meeting.

You honestly think that a group of people who were willing to fight over a single goal won't continue fighting over it? That's naive thinking.

Moreover? You don't have just yourselves to worry about. You said it yourself: other people know. It's because of one of those other people that I'm replying to this. She's close to Saber, and I'm not going to get in the way of that. But Kazumi is incredibly important to me, and I don't want her getting caught in any crossfire that might result from what you're doing.

Can you actually promise that there won't be any? Because I think that's an impossible promise to make to anyone, much less in a place like this.

It's something I've been approached by strangers with while in this tower. People know whether we want them to or not, it doesn't matter as much as everyone seems to think.

The entire point of this is to ensure no one will be fighting for that goal. Among us are many powerful people, if any of them decided to start fighting, or acted out and attacked innocent people, it would be a disaster. This is to organise us in a way which prevents anything like that from happening.

[It's been a while since Jeanne's had to use her stern voice. This is definitely a time to do so, though.]

That still does not give you a reason to broadcast it in public. Do you not realize that there are people here who may have missed your Servant's declaration when he first arrived? People come and go here all the time, so there will always be some who don't know about us. What would happen if others wish to interfere in our business? The reason we do not speak of the Holy Grail War is to prevent that exact thing from happening.

[She actually scowls now.] And of course you mention the wars by their full titles, revealing to those that may not have known us prior that the Servants and Masters fight for the Holy Grail. A legend that no doubt spans across many alternate universes. Do you not think that some of the people in this tower with evil in their hearts might take interest in us now? The Grail may not be hidden within the tower, but who's to say that some villain will not attempt to capture a Master and torture them for more information?

[And she pauses to take a deep breath. She wasn't aware of how stressed she was over this war mess until THIS happened.]

Just because some people cannot keep their mouths shut when matters of secrecy are concerned does not mean that we should broadcast ourselves for all to see. You are a fool if you think that.
