Is it a trick? What exactly would I have to gain from simple minded acts such as trickery and subterfuge? I have no need for such petty nuisances. What I do like doing is... an art in the form of obliteration.

A normal mage you say? Then you surely cannot be as incompetent as you made it seem due to your reaction. One cannot simply be a mage! The very thought is outrageous.
