Hello. My name is Sephiroth.

I am interested in learning more about other planets, for research purposes. The planet I am from is named Gaia. I have met people from Earth and Alternia. If you are from a different planet, or if you could tell me more about these planets, please contact me. I do not know very much about Earth or Alternia. We may speak on the network or in person in the library.

I heard that someone has made a list of all the floors, but I do not know what their name is. [Shinji had described them as a "blowhard", but Sephiroth does not think it would be a good idea to use that description.] Could you contact me also? It would be a good idea to make copies of the list or put it on the network for everyone to access.

Another good idea would be a manual for operating the network, if there is not one already.

[Lancer attacks first. A quick thrust aimed at the boy's chest. He has no doubt that the child would be able to block it.]

[True to Lancer's prediction, Sephiroth's sword comes up to block the spear. He then teleports quickly forward and to one side to deliver a strike of his own. His abilities make up for his much shorter legs.]

[Lancer quickly twirls his spear so he can block the blow with the shaft.]

[Sephiroth doesn't speak during battle, at least not yet, remaining focused on what he's doing. When Lancer parries his blow, he leaps up and delivers two more, in quick succession.]

[These too are parried. If there's an opening, Lancer will try to attack by thrusting.]

[There's an opening, however small. When Lancer thrusts, however, Sephiroth teleports away, just in time. He then comes at Lancer from a different angle entirely, swinging his sword.]

[Lancer barely senses the blow in time to step backwards and dodge.]

Woah. That's some speed.

[Blink and he'd miss the kid. Even with his enhanced sight.]

[Teleportation has its uses!

Sephiroth takes his offense further as Lancer steps back, with a barrage of blows. Lancer had better look sharp!]

[He blocks, but is sent retreating backwards. He's actually putting out effort now, more than he usually would against opponents of flesh and blood.]
