[The Caninu man's sitting in Dahak, his robot, in front of one of the many terminals on Dorm Floor 2. Originally, Red had tried Dahak's radio but found that it didn't work at all. He didn't even get static; the thing just wouldn't turn on. The terminals were his only option for communication. It took a little while for Red to get the hang of them - that and waiting for them to come online - but at last he manages to get an audio entry through. The halls were quiet, thankfully, save for some red goo monster that Dahak had easily dispatched. Hopefully nothing worse than that would show up...]

Hey, anyone in this tower know anythin' about weird blood stuff? I saw this poor girl with blood spikes stickin' out her back yesterday, and tonight somethin' in my bed stabbed me and now my blood's movin' around. Is this normal for the tower or is somethin' real strange goin' on?

Oh, and if anyone knows where a guy can get some real clothes around here, I'd appreciate it.

[Now to wait and see who would respond... or track him down.]

[Wretched Egg doesn't make a move. She just keeps watching him through half-lidded eyes. Then her look drifts from Red to the robot.]

Red has a robot toy~?

Dahak ain't a toy! Watch and learn, Eggy!

[Well, then, the other way to gauge what an opponent can do is to just start fighting! Dahak lunges at Wretched Egg, moving faster than a robot that size should be able to move, arms ready to grapple her if she'll hold still just long enough... which isn't terribly long. Those arms move quite quickly, too.]

[Wretched Egg doesn't make a single attempt at avoiding Dahak, letting the robot's arms wrap themselves around her. Suddenly a circle of blue hexagons form behind her as thick strands of blood escape her body. Her laughter is the only warning Red gets. Then a whirlwind forms around Wretched Egg, throwing Dahak away from her and the blue hexagons throw themselves at the robot aiming at cutting it in two if he doesn't manage to avoid them.]

Wh-whoa--

[Somehow, Red manages to hang on and avoid getting thrown out of the cockpit... which is good, because if he hadn't gotten Dahak up and moving as soon as he did, those hexagons would have sliced the robot in two. For a brief moment, he considers trying to grab them and use them against Wretched Egg... but then he sees the perfect cut they left in the chassis and reconsiders.]

Shapes? Is that all ya got?

[Here he comes again, dashing around Wretched Egg and waiting for an opening to catch her in Dahak's hands again...]

Don't you like them?

[She sends another wave of blue hexagons at him, while she leaps forward, avoiding Dahak's hands aiming a punch at the center of the robot.]

No, I-- gyah!

[He's cut off - thankfully, only figuratively - by the new wave of hexagons; Red barely manages to dash out of the way and... right into Wretched Egg's punch. Dahak goes tumbling backwards again, but not before those arms swing once more. Maybe now he can grab her, or at least smack her with those giant hands. There has to be something that works...]
