[Link didn't think information like an entire world being destroyed was something people should inform you on a piece of paper, but they had and Link didn't know how to act. Princess Zelda, Princess Midna, Ordon- had he really failed everyone? Had it been his fault? Hadn't he just saved Hyrule? He was broken, upset, and angry.

At some point he had dumped something heavy on the communication desk but hadn't stuck around. For a guy who lived in a tree, he didn't know technology. At the moment he was sitting down, back to the door, letter on the floor beside him, blue eyes gazing up at what appeared to be the light on the ceiling. It was so bright, he had never seen fire burn this way. It couldn't be fire. It's as bright as the sun but I'm indoors. Maybe it's magic.

He was definitely curious, there was no doubt he'd soon be climbing up something in order to reach it but for now, his body felt like lead. Not even the glowing screen recording him did much to catch his attention.]

Princess Zelda. [There has to be a way to fix this. There's still hope, right? He could really use some guidance right about now.]

[Zelda keeps him close. He is her hero. Hyrule's hero. For that, she will be forever grateful and indebted to him. Royalty or no, she owed Link so much for saving all she cherished.]

[He didn't hesitate as he held her close, smiling. He would have never imagined himself holding the Princess of Hyrule in his arms. A part of him still believed that this was not right, he should have more respect for his ruler, but the other part of him didn't want to let go.

She smells so nice, he thought in his head as closed his eyes and took a small inhale, she's so warm.]

[A minute and two pass until Zelda realizes how inappropriate this scene is. If the council were to see her now...they would probably have Link banished from the castle or on trial for fraternizing with his future Queen. She slowly takes back her arms, so as to not appear rude when moving away, and smiles warmly as she steps back.]

Hyrule's Princess is forever indebted to you, Link of Ordon.

[She takes the skirts of her dress, and dips briefly into a curtsy, then rises.] Thank you for coming.

[He never did like seeing her boy. He couldn't understand why she would. He had saved Hyrule, yes, but it was the least he could do. It was his job just like it was hers to rule it. He extended his hand out for her to take.]

I'll find a way out.

[She looks to his hand, thinks, then, disregarding proper royalty-to-commoner protocol, she takes his hand into hers.]

[Well, that sounded like a problem. He pulled her over as he closed the door.]

Wait. I have yet to fully explore this terrain, and I do not want to make any hasty decisions before I am sure of the purpose behind our situation.
