[For some reason, Jungo woke up the morning after having the strangest dream. He remembers walking around Nagoya for days, unable to find anyone he recognized. Not Airi, not anyone from JPs, not even Hiro or demons. It gives the chef a lot to think about, but he goes about his daily routine like he hasn't been gone for two weeks. It's not like he can tell...other than the fact that his cat seems to have missed him an awful lot.

Oh, well. He goes to address the terminal.]

...The food here's no good this month. I can't do anything with it. I think Master would understand. [After all, it's just strange nutrition bars.] Where's the rest of the food?

[Like always, Jungo's not smiling. He doesn't sound happy. He's far from angry, though, it's just his default expression. After a few moments of staring at the feed and forgetting to end the message, he remembers something else he wants to ask.]

I don't know very many things. I know even less about this place, so I want to learn more. Thanks for listening.

[And with that, he reaches over and shuts off the feed.]

[ooc; Jungo's been on a home hiatus for the last two weeks, so he honestly has no idea what's up. Yay! He's back now, though. Also, I posted this to the wrong comm the first time. I'm completely mortified, but I swear it won't happen again.]

[he seems a little bit awkward as he answered that.]

[He might smile a bit here, normally, but...] How much is there to know? Can I learn it all?

...We can't cover the floors in just one days, but it's certainly possible, yes.

[...This is the first time he's seen the other looking so serious before, so he answered it in the same manner as well.]

[He's determined to at least figure some of these things out. It's about time he did something other than cook, anyways.]

[He's going to just wait around the floor's entrance yep.]

[It doesn't take Jungo long to get there. Just like back home, he runs off at the drop of a hat. He goes straight to the library, and he meets with Naegi at the floor entrance instead.]

[He doesn't say anything else. He just nods affirmatively.]

[With a nod, and noting the serious air around the other male, he's going to start walking up the stairs.]

The floors around this area are tamer compared to the rest we're going to see later, so we might as well get used to them first, alright?

[He doesn't move, though. After a second, he calls up after Naegi.] ...I want to learn more about how the Tower works, too.

[This guy...reminds him of Shinjiro, in more ways than one.]

The food for the month seems to be chosen by the administrator in charge.

I'm not against people joining me for a little hunting, though.

[Akihiko curls a determined grin.]

[Is it because he's homeless?]

...Hmm. So that's what it is. I was wondering why it was always different. I need more than nutrition bars, though, or Jungo's going to get sick.

Where have you been hunting?

[He wouldn't know that!]

There's a floor in the tower that holds a huge forest. We've hunted some of the animals there for meat when there's nothing edible around. It's dangerous, but I don't plan on letting anyone go hungry because I'm afraid of a few scratches. [Or maulings.]

Jungo's my cat.

...I don't think I've been to that floor before. I can take care of myself, but is it really okay to kill the animals?

[Pre-packaged food is one thing, but...killing innocent animals?]

So far we haven't noticed anything bad come from hunting them. We haven't done it all that often to tell.

If fish is more your thing, there's a floor with walls made of water where sea animals live. I've heard that a few people go fishing there.

...! A floor with walls made of water...which floor is that? I can use fish to help prepare chawanmushi!

[Everything else he says gets ignored. Also, Jungo needs more than one ingredient for chawanmushi...but fish is a good start.]

It's a couple floors above the forest on the sixth floor if I remember right. I've only been there a few times, passing through.

Uh-huh. Well.. it's not really food like in the cafeteria, but.. it's things you can use to make food. Like there's animals in the tower, and there's places with plants too.. [ Wait, what did that person say again? Right-- ] But some are dangerous. So you need to watch out.

Are the animals like us? Are they stuck here, too?

[He can't bring himself to kill a prisoner like that. He's not even sure he can bring himself to kill an animal at all.]

.. I don't think so. They're pretty mean animals. [ aka they try to attack you.. ]

If they were just like us, then they wouldn't be mean to us, right?
