Video

[Lancer looks outright haggard as he appears on the feed. However, he at least has his normal form back.]

Master. Brother. I'm okay now.

[And then he shuts off the feet.]

[Lancelot appears, seeming grave, but calm-- and a little worn around the edges. His own Death was taxing. He can only imagine how Cu Chulainn must feel.]

I am pleased to see you whole and restored to yourself once more, Cu Chulainn.
I pray you find rest.

[Lancelot considers that even if putting Cu Chulainn to death was not a permanent solution, it was a justifiable one under the circumstances. He feels no shame or regret.
Though he does seem to struggle with his words a bit.]

I will mend. I-- fell, myself. Some time after our encounter.
The experience was draining-- I will recover, I am sure.

How fares Diarmuid Ua Duibhne?

[Cu Chulainn's reaction earns a faint, ironic smirk from Lancelot.]
Let it suffice to say that I let my guard down and hold only myself responsible. This place has ways of twisting even those of the most noble of intentions among us.
As you well know.

[What Lancelot wishes to know, he asks.]

So all is mended between you then, you and your Brother?
chevalier_mal_fet: (my idiom/behold your humble servant)

I would expect no less of him.
[The answer is somewhat terse, as Lancelot is a bit put out with Diarmuid Ua Duibhne at the moment.]

I'm sure it is so. You have a great Love for one another.
[Lancelot means this to be reassuring. He is well-disposed towards Cu Chulainn at least, and regards the two Lancers as he would any he thought to be true Lovers.]
