[[The boy showing up on the screen looked...well. Crestfallen to say the least. He pulled his orange headband down a little before finally addressing the screen.]]

I...I'm sorry everyone. [[What's this kid apologizing for?]] We failed. We let the aliens win... [[It was clearly hard to admit, he was visibly trembling.]]

I...there's no excuse. I wasn't strong enough. I'm sorry. [[His fists finally pounded on the console. He was so frustrated, so disappointed in himself. After a moment he sighed, relaxing as best he could. His hands slipped from the console, and he put on a smile.]]

So...who all is here? Mom? Any of my team? How about any other soccer players? Please ah...speak up! I want to know who was saved...

I told you... the time works here differently. [His gaze shifts to the side behind his gogglelens.]

Endou this.... this is a terrible place...

But...that doesn't make any sense. Was it the aliens? Did they do this? Or...no there's no other explanation!

No, it wasn't them. They're not the bad guys... they actually turned out to be humans.

...wait.

[He smiles.]

All of the 'aliens' were orphans... being used by someone who owned the orphanage. He found a meteorite, that gave them unbelievable power and that power clouded their minds. They went along acting as aliens to please this man.... and in the end, we beat them and gained quite a few new friends.

That's terrible...why would someone do that to them? [[And then that last part registers.]]

Wait, we won? Yes! I knew we could do it! How did we do it? Did we come up with cool new hissatsu? And were they our new friends? I hope so, because it sounds like they could use some!

[[...and then the last part registers.]]

Wait...if we're not here because we lost, why are we here?

He had... his own reasons for it. He was trying to punish the government, because they were involved in an accident which killed his biological son....

[It was a pretty tragic story...]

We did learn a lot of new hissatsu, and they are our friends now too. [A smile.] They're all very nice, when you get to know them. And they're very strong soccer players, on their own.

And as for your last question... I'm still not entirely sure. This place works a lot different than our world. As I said, time works differently here and it take's people from their world from any time in their life... the people who brought us here claimed we're here because our worlds were destroyed but I know that much isn't true.

...I've yet to see our world in one piece since coming here, but I know it can't be gone... it can't be...

Well if it wasn't gone because of the aliens, then it's not going to be gone because of whoever these people think they are! Well...okay not aliens I guess, but still. We both saw what they did to those schools, and we survived.

[[And that's just all there is to it! If the aliens couldn't destroy their world, no one could.]]

So don't worry about it! But aaah, I bet you were so cool Kidou. Did you and Gouenji come up with any? What about Kageno or Kabeyama? Megane? Handa? I bet everyone did, right?

[[He's just wearing the biggest, dreamiest look on his face. Obviously he's imagining what kind of techniques could have been possibly dreamt up by his team.]]

[Well there was no way Kidou was going to keep talking about destroyed worlds and he wasn't going to tell Endou about how everyone got hospitalized thanks to the aliens... either....]

Yeah, almost everyone were able to make up new hissatsu. And after we won against the aliens, we were able to enter a new tournament, the Football Frontier International. We were both chosen for Japan's representative team, along with Gouenji, Kabeyama, Kurimatsu.. and a lot others.

Football Frontier International?! And I'm missing it?! [[Look at that look of pure anguish.]] Awwwwwwww!!!

I'm sorry... I would have liked to see it to the end, myself..

Yes! [[He pumps his fists into the air a few times, but then--]]

[[DON'T WORRY KIDOU after a moment he jogs back over to the screen.]]

I'm on the dorm floor I think! I came out of the room I woke up in and found this thing and messed around with it a little...

[And he turns off the feed and begins looking. Luckily, he was on his own dorm floor so after checking floor one, he only had a couple more floors to check before he spotted the energetic goalkeeper waiting for him.

He jogs over, with a smile on his face.]
