You asked if I feel sad, or angry, or frightened, or happy, or nothing at all. These days, honestly? I feel a lot more frightened than I would like to admit, because a lot has happened, and I don't understand all of it. If things are happening that I don't understand, and I can't find a way to understand them easily, I get scared.

I won't ask anything after this - we made an agreement, and I honor my agreements, but I want to understand things a bit better, so I can be less afraid here: you said that those glamour systems 'weren't exactly magic'. Do you mind clarifying that for me a bit?

Complicated question! It's mostly technology, with a bit of psionic ability worked into it. As for how it works, here's a question for you to think about: if all of your senses told you an apple was green, would it matter if it was objectively red?

I suppose it wouldn't, if my senses perceived the way the apple reflected the light as green and not red.
