I hate to ask it, but if anyone has any seeds, or knows of a way to get some, I'm hoping to put the farmland to use. I'm in room 1-10 so if you'd like to just drop them off, it's fine to slide it under the door.

You are already doing more than enough by offering to do this. The least I can do is lend my aid. Which is why if you require any help tending to the crops, I shall do my best to assist with that.

No, it's something I feel I need to do. I should at least farm some land as I'd intended to (laughs) even if I can't pay for the land now.

But it will still be a great help, especially if a food shortage ever occurs. And I will still do my best to aid you with this.

I can't imagine it could be altogether harmful to ask for some seeds, about the worst they could do is refuse or give me something strange.

From what I have heard of the people in charge, they seem likely to give us things that are both strange and deadly. But still, it would be nice if they did answer your request.

Then I'll have to taste it first before giving any to others, to be sure it's not poisonous.

There are other ways to test for poison! You do not have to risk your safety to do it.

It's not a big deal, it won't last. It's a quick and easy way to determine.

Do not be ridiculous! There are other methods that are quick and simple and that do not result in you becoming ill or worse.

No. If you are worried about the crops being poisoned, I will have to insist that other methods to test for such are used.

Such as? I would need someone who is able to do it, that could be difficult.

I believe my father wrote notes on how to look for and get rid of poisons in my old spellbook. And asking for assistance over this network could also work; all kinds of people are brought here, after all.
