We've got enough food in the cafeteria for a picnic.

Yeah, that's true. And I could make some things out of the food there too.

But I might wanna hide under the trees in the meadow, cause this is way hotter than what I'm used to.

It's just summer, I'm sure it's not going to be too bad...

Summer back home was full of rain and wind. The sun only made an appearance about once a month.

That seems so strange.

The wastelands was almost always rainy. It only stopped in the winter, and then it just changed to snow and ice.

There wasn't a lot of rain back home at all...

That's a good thing, though. It was hard to walk around after it rained a lot.

I think a moderate amount of rain helps, though.

Yeah, or else the air would feel dry and water would get scarce. And that would really suck.

...I miss home a lot.

But we will find a way back home, I'm sure of it.

Exactly! Then when we get back, we can tell everyone about what the hell happened to us for the past year or so.

They will be. And I will have to introduce you to Michelle and Ryan, too. [Cause April is also sure that there will be a way to stay in contact with each other.]
