[ When the video feed flickers on, it's not hard to see the bright color of Loke's hair when he appears on screen; fiery orange and messy. Reminiscent of a lion's mane, almost. Dressed neatly and displeased eyes glowering a bit through the tinted sunglasses he's wearing. ]

...I'm not so quick to believe that my world has been so easily destroyed.

However... [ Eyes cast themselves away from the screen briefly, then back in a matter of moments, brows knitting into a frown shortly after. ] If anyone from Fairy Tail is here, could any of you get back to me at once? I'd like to know you all are safe if you really happen to be here along with me.

As well... i'm sure many have asked this, but would anyone be so kind as to explain just what is going on here? Any answers would be appreciated.

I know it seems rather hard to believe..but I am sorry to say that your world is destroyed. You'll find out a bit more about recent developments in the Tower after a quick look in the Network, but if you want me to tell you anything about the Tower, I'll be more than happy to do so!

You're welcome..and you're right, it would be a good place to start. That collar is actually your body right now. This Tower and the people inside it are coated with illusions, and what your body looks like right now is one of them. That collar is the only thing that's not normally affected by it, but..I'm sorry to say that your own body right now is a wiremesh creation with your soul and liquid to keep your soul there inside. Your original body is back in your own world.

I'm... none of this makes any sense. This feels too real and I can still use my magic here... illusions can do all of that?

I know it seems strange, but trust me, I'm telling the truth. Your magic is an illusion here too. In truth, none of the residents that were brought here have any powers.

I see. I admit this is all a little much to take in so soon but it's best to know everything if I am to be stuck here, so to speak.

Is there anything else important I should know about this tower?

...and as well... I do have to ask you something else, miss. About if you've seen a young woman around here... her name is Lucy. Beautiful blond hair, brown eyes and a stunning smile. Please... this is something I need to know.

I know it's a lot to take in..but you're right. In this place, it's always best to know everything that you can, so that you can others can survive.

I'm sorry..I haven't met Lucy here. However, if I do see her eventually, I'll let you know. It must be terrible to be here without the person you love.

As for the rest of what I know about the Tower, it's called Animus. Four people now run it-Riki, a secretive 'man' who builds the Tower and is in charge of the records, Zo, a small child who can bring souls here, Jason, a sadistic metalworker and technician of sorts who sometimes experiments on the residents and is scared of any rebellion attempts. He, I believe, helps transfer your soul when you die. Finally, there’s Ruana, a 'woman' who has been here for thousands of years and doesn’t quite understand human empathy or emotions, and hates it when people go against her. She may seem sweet, but she is capable of removing free will and cannibalizing her own Administrators.

There used to be a fifth Administrator named Dax. He was the most humane of the bunch and did his best to protect us from Jason and the monsters here. He even managed to sneak people down to the Administrative levels in order to let them know more about this place. However, when he tried to go against Ruana..she killed and ate him, possibly absorbing his powers in the process. He was a good man.

Death isn’t permanent here. If you die, you’ll just wake up in your 'bed' the next day. However, don’t throw your life away for foolish reasons, since you'll get punished if you die too many times, and..if Zo messes up or has Ruana force his hand, she might send you back to your original universe and devour your soul when you go back into your own body. You see..your own body is still in your original universe, and any person that has gone back to them or has their soul in them can be eaten by Ruana to prolong her life and the Tower's power. Any friends or family you knew and any you make that vanish might be dead or become dead. I'm sorry.

If you haven’t been to the cafeteria yet, make sure that you eat the oatmeal when you do. If you don’t, you’ll throw up anything else you try to eat until you finish it. However, you can eat anything you want afterwards, and you can add things to the oatmeal to improve the taste.

Monsters roam the Tower at night, and some of the higher floors have monsters that attack if you get too close. If you can’t fight, then I would suggest learning. There are plenty of people here who would be willing to teach you.

Rather perceptive. She really is the person I love, and I appreciate that you'll keep an eye out for her. Lucy means the entire world to me, after all.

If I understand all of that correctly from what you've said... There are four people that run the tower but the ones most dangerous are Ruana and that man named Jason, right? The woman, Ruana... I've never heard of anyone who could actually devour souls and the thought is not exactly a pleasant one if I think about it.

Oatmeal. A little odd but it isn't impossible so I believe I can manage that. As for the part with fighting, I wouldn't worry about that. I'm someone who can easily stand my ground with a fight, I assure you, as I am a lot older than most think.

Well, I am a book girl. It would be hard for me to read that and not think otherwise. But you're welcome. This Tower is huge, but if I spot her, I'll drag her to you as soon as I find her.

And you've got it! Ruana is the most dangerous one though. I'm don't even think that they are human, under all the illusions, but..I'm not exactly sure what are really, species-wise. Guessing by her growl, Ruana's some sort of wild animal, but other than that..I don't know. And the oatmeal here is pretty bland, but it's not totally inedible. However..I do have to warn you that, under the illusions, all of the food you'll see here is just water, oatmeal, and nutrition bars.

I'm glad to hear that you can fight though..however, if you mean to say that you're immortal, I'm sorry to hear that. Immortality is, usually, unbearably painful.

An animal...? Well that would make sense in one way and yet it's a bit more confusing as well but that's something to look into later, I suppose. This place simply seems to run on nothing but it's illusions to sustain it, then? Without them I imagine this place would be... ah... lifeless, would be a good way to put it, by the way you've been describing everything.

Painful? I'm afraid it's never been that as such for me but does that apply more to this place and existing here?

I don't think it's that confusing..but this Tower doesn't run on illusions. It seems to run on normal electricity, I think..but I'm starting to suspect that it's run on souls. I could be wrong though. I hope I am. However, I'm glad you mentioned lifeless. I almost left out something very important: this Tower, due to us pulling off the illusions and finding out more of the truth, has a time limit. If we can't find a way to restore the universes, the power in this Tower will run out, and we'll be sent back to our original universes, where we'll be immortal in a dead world..assuming that Ruana decides to not munch on us, which she probably will.

..No..that's not what I meant. I'm glad that hasn't been the case for you so far, but immortality is, in general, very painful to most people.

...A place run on souls. Somehow that would seem fitting from what i've already heard of this place and how they could keep this all going.

That fate that befalls us if we're not able to restore our worlds... it sounds truly grim, to say the least. So I will do whatever is necessary to aid in the return of our worlds so nobody will have to suffer like that.

Oh..! Sorry. I didn't mean to simply assume that. Indeed... parts of my life have been a little painful but for others... yes, it can be entirely painful as a whole if you look at the whole picture of it. I do try to take it in stride and look at the good within it, rather than the bad parts of it, but I know for others it's not so easy.

It would make the name of this Tower appropriate. Animus is an old Roman concept that means soul, you know.

And it will be grim if we fail..but I'm glad that you're willing to help out! We don't have any current plans in mind..but if you ever need my help with something, let me know, okay? I'll do my best to help you out.
