[Ryoji wasn't often seen using the network. In a place such as this, there was too much to do and too little time to spend on the terminals, unless it was to check for information. That had been Ryoji's main reason for paying attention to the network, and he hardly responded lately, after his last message went awry.

Today, though, he's gained enough confidence to turn back on the feed again. He's looking a little cheerier than usual, though that may not be completely genuine. He's not really happy... yet. But he's hoping with this message that maybe he can have some conversations that will help him cheer up, and more importantly, cheer up others in the process.

He offers a small wave and then begins to speak.]

Hi, everyone! I know this may seem to be out of nowhere, but I have a question. You see, as strange as this is going to sound, I didn't get a chance to stay very long in my original world, and because of that, there are a lot of things I've never experienced. I know here, there isn't much opportunity to try new things, but I don't mind that.

I think hearing about something is sometimes just as interesting as experiencing it yourself.

So, if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to ask what you did for fun back home! I can understand if it's hard to get yourself in the mood, or if you don't really want to share something personal, but I think swapping stories could be a mood booster. We need some of those lately.

If enough people share, then maybe I'll even tell you a secret story of my own! It's pretty embarrassing though, so my lips are sealed for now.

[He chuckles softly, but there is evidence of a blush...]

Ah, you too? I love video games! My friend and I used to go to the arcade all the time. Did you have a favorite genre? I was always more of a racing fan, and I liked rpgs if I ever got a chance to play one. I never had a console at home though.

At least he's not confused about Ryoji like Miki is.

Fighting games mostly. My brother and I liked playing two player side-scrollers too, or dungeon explorer.

Oh, fighting games are a lot of fun! I can never remember all the button combos, but some people are really good at it.

You're very lucky to get to do that! I visited Kyoto once, and I'd love to see some other countries. What kind of places did you visit?

I was able to visit some of my world's cities and towns, but I mainly was able to travel all over. Quaeda is mostly a desert, but still beautiful.

Traveling sounds like a lot of fun! I only went on one school trip. Where did you go?

Swimming is a lot of fun. My friend was on a swim team, and he said it was tough, but exciting.

I've done a lot of exploring here too, but you can run out of things to discover here, unfortunately. Who's Sweetfang?

[Ah, another person facing disaster back home. It's difficult, but Ryoji is hopeful each one of them can make it home to accomplish what they need to.]

[Xue paused for a second and smiled a bit. At a glance, she had thought she had met him before and had spoken of some things back home with someone similar to this person, but considering where they were? It could really had been anyone.]

An' Sweetfang be my venomhide raptah, came wit me as a babe, but in da long time we been here, he be a grown friend now.

[The latter question always caused her to question if she really had any emotions when it came to back home and the wars. She had been so used to it all... She eventually just shrugged.]

[And cheesy superhero samurai live action TV shows but like hell he's gonna tell you about those. Diarmuid might have told Ryoji, though. IDK if you got his mun's permission BUT YOU HAVE MINE! It would make the conversation funnier.]

Hmm... well, I think maybe telling me your favourite memory would be more than enough. My story's about a special time for me, too, even if it is embarrassing.
