[Chidori's expression is darker than usual, fingers toying idly with the broken headphones clipped loosely to one side of her dress.]

I do hope when the time comes that whichever of you sent me this will understand that at this point, it's quite difficult not to make the things that will happen to you as heinous as is within our collective ability. After all, you seem quite intent on making it personal with every person in the tower.

Well at least we'll all be taller than Koromaru.

[Jin interjected as he approached, rubbing his neck with one hand while the other was in his pocket, and still looking like he'd been hit with a bag of bricks upon waking up in the morning.]

You never know- he might surprise us too.

[Not really, but sometimes being contrary with Jin is fun. She gives him a slow once-over as he approaches though, and briefly sets her hand on his elbow.]

You look like Hell though.

[The thought makes him smirk a little in amusement regardless. As does Chidori's comment.]

And you're surprised?

I think we've all been having a rough time lately.

It's a slightly more pronounced hell than usual, is all.

[But she sighs and nods, agreeing with Ken. Granted her time hadn't been quite as difficult as theirs, but the tower was still pushing its luck with her.]

Might as well sit then- I know so much of your energy goes into sarcasm, Jin. Wouldn't want you coming up short at a crucial moment.

Ha ha. [Help yourself to the driest sarcastic laugh he could muster.]

But hey, if you wanna sit down for this tea party, I'm not complaining.

[He wasn't tired enough to drop out of nowhere, but, well he was pretty exhausted these days anyway. So he made his way to a couch and plopped down, gesturing for the other two to follow.]

[Ken does follow, and sits down, hanging his head back to look at the dark ceiling.]

This place is bad enough without... everything going on.

[Puberty suuuuucks.]

[Chidori settles on Ken's other side, drawing her knees up idly and toying with the slightly-tattered hem of her skirt.]

They're really pushing things lately, aren't they?

[Her fingers go to the headphones she's still wearing as she says it, expression sour.]

...and idiots breaking everything isn't really helping.

What, you mean the explosion earlier?

[Again, he's more amused than not.]

I thought that was pretty good. You'd rather sit around waiting for them to pop out of their holes again?

Not really. Though it'd be nice to know what was going on for once.

Explosions are all well and good, but they're liable to break something that's necessary for fixing things at the rate they're going. They can talk about being 'proactive' all they want- all they're really doing is being irresponsible... especially with how many of them want to go 'home'.

[She tugs at her skirt again and shrugs.]

And yes- it would be nice to know what's going on. Information doesn't tend to be shared until it's far too late.

Information's a valuable commodity in this place. [He said simply; he wasn't as aware as he used to be of what was going on, but that didn't mean he still wasn't an information hound.]

Eh, if they can't be assed to make sure they got a way home, that's there loss. I like it without having to worry about what time I'll get home for dinner.
