What makes it worse is the way the video on screen doesn't seem to want to display properly, meaning they appear twisted and strange. Nue's voice sounds from somewhere above the camera's range, though, so she must have been the one who turned it on... Her words might not be entirely clear to a listener, and especially with how she isn't facing the terminal directly, but Nue doesn't know how these things work, so.]

I've seen these things before. [Specifically, she saw them when she...woke up in the lower levels, she supposes would be the way to say it. She has been writing off the sense of familiarity as being thanks to that—maybe they're the same ones that tried to carry her off?] Am I the only one?

I wonder. [Usually he did not care so much about such things, but he did end up staring at that door for a relatively long time.] It is unusual that they mark something that may actually kill you in this place.

Did you see anyone else down there? [She asks this suddenly.] The person who chased them away from me wasn't someone I recognized, either.

[There's a pause. A curious hum.] Only the shadow creatures. You saw someone while you were there?

I did. Like I said, they tried to carry me away, but a man chased them off.

[bowandblade]

A man. You did not recognize him as one of the administrators?

[undefines]

[Flatly:] I've never seen any of the administrators, so I wouldn't know what they would look like.

[bowandblade]

[...Hmm.] Describe him, then! There are only so many administrators. What did he do to chase off the creatures?

He was a man [obviously], and his head was shaved. I don't know exactly what he did, but he throw something, and even the ones that didn't get hit scattered after that.
