Ω → eight [audio; open to action]
We are, all of us, growing volcanoes that approach the hour of their eruption; but how near or distant that is, nobody knows — not even God.
[ A pause, after reciting an old quote from a certain philosopher Wilhelm may or may not have an attachment to. There's some soft music playing in the background, but the volume, for once, is turned down to where it's barely audible, just loud enough for a listener to know that it's there. ]
This Tower has endured much. The revelations of our true nature here, the Promethean fall of Dax, and the fate of our worlds...
[ Yes - Wilhelm admits he was wrong about the worlds. It appears the Administrators mislead him. Well played, well played. ]
Though there is but one detail that still eludes me. Something I believed inconsequential to the grand scheme, until now.
What exists outside of the Tower?
[ Yes; there is a reason he is asking this. He leans back into his seat, in his small corner of the library he claimed as his own long ago. Those that regularly spoke with him knew where to find him. ]

However, those thoughts went out of her head when she wandered into a corner or the library and saw a man with white hair sitting at a desk..with odd music playing.]
What's that music?! Yotsuba's never heard it before!

[ A child? The Administrators were truly cruel to bring a child here. This one looked no older than six. Of course, six years might as well be a nanosecond to someone as old as Wilhelm. ]
Do you like it?

You seem to know much about this tower. I would like answers about those things you spoke of.

...Putting aside the overdramatics and the Nietzsche quote, that is indeed the question many seem to overlook. [Waver placed whatever book he'd been holding back on its shelf, glancing over his shoulder.]
I would be inclined to answer 'very little' given what few outward glances this place actually grants. But that would be a vast oversimplification, I'm sure. Just because one hasn't seen much hardly means there's nothing to see.

The Tower exterior has been breached before. That would indicate that life does exist outside of the Tower, wherever that may happen to be.

Funnily enough, I just assumed that nothing was outside the tower.

[ It's a pretty simple answer, but it's just that simple in the girl's mind. This tower is just part of its own world, right? So there's got to be a world outside the tower, just.. surrounding it. No matter what it might look like. ]

[[To be honest, Endou hadn't given that much thought. Whenever it came up, he just sort of assumed...things. Existed. Outside the tower. Something had to exist out there, right? But...well, what was a good question.]]
Hmmm...well...what if nothing exists outside the tower? What if we're just floating around in space!
