1st video; bad birthdays

[ Sealand’s face can be seen, very close to the screen, his expression bewildered yet somewhat excited. He's on the terminal closest to room 1-20, and he might seem familiar to anyone in the tower who knows England. The only real differences between the two are his somewhat tamer hair, his blue eyes, and the fact that he looks no older than twelve years old.

Oh and guess who totally hasn't read either of those important letters by his bed yet? Who needs to read when it's finally his birthday. He's pretty proud of himself for having figured out how to use the terminal without any help. Technology can help him out here! ]

Hellooooo?!

This is the weirdest birthday surprise I’ve ever had and I don’t know if I like it yet. It’s for a party, uh, right? A surprise party? …Here, for me? This is a strange place for a party, but it’s okay, there must be some reason for it!

I bet my dad organised it! Is he here? And Fin and Wy and everybody? Is this like a game? Is there a cake?! And why did you change me into this suit thing? It's weird.

Anyway, I’m forty-six years old now, you know, I'm practically ancient and more than ready for true nationhood! I hope I have lots of presents and you’ll all take the opportunity to realise how much I’ve grown!

Oh, also, I think this computer’s broken. I can’t find the internet link and I need to get on facebook! I should have lots of birthday messages!

Not yet, but I only just got up. I hope I do get one. I hope it's chocolate... with power rangers! And sprinkles!

Ah, I don't have one with power rangers or sprinkles.. I have regular cake though, if you want that. [ .. Although she doesn't want to disappoint him, so she's thinking for a moment.. ]

Nuh-huh, there's no chocolate.. but there is jam. And strawberries.

[ Apparently she just likes it really sweet.. but she never got to decide what kind either, she feels your pain. ]

[ There's a pause, as he looks around him for a moment. ]

But I should find my papa first or something... [ This is a strange surprise, for sure. ]

[ .. "Papa". Her stomach twists a little at the word, even if it doesn't show up much on her face. Maybe the tiniest wince, but that's it, it's gone as quickly as it came. ]

You.. have family here..?

[ He doesn't know. He doesn't even know where "here" is. He frowns. ]

Well, they must be here somewhere! How else would I have got here?

Um.. this place maybe didn't take your family here. It didn't take my family here either. [ But she didn't expect them to be there from the start. They never were there before, why would they be now? ]

So maybe you won't be able to find them even if you look through the entire tower..

No, no. They must be here somewhere... it's my birthday, after all! And how else would I have been sneaked in here in the middle of the night?!

You didn't sneak here. The people in charge snuck you in here instead. .. While you were asleep or something like that, I guess.. so you didn't get to notice. They probably weren't preparing a birthday party for you either, even though it's rude to ignore that. [ Urotsuki, the rudeness of the admins isn't the thing in question here.. ]

[ Although. ] There was some paper next to where I woke up, was that it? I didn't read it though because it's my birthday.

It's a letter to you. I guess they write one for everyone who comes here, so if you think of it like that, then it's almost like a birthday present since it's just for you.. [ Who would even want a birthday present like that, come on. ]
