[While the recording here was rather short, it was pretty obvious that it was something that a little kid sent, both by how the voice sounded and how the person spoke.]

Hello! I'm Yotsuba Koiwai! I beat Zett in a race and I'm trying out the ter..terminals! It's suuper fun! Who are you? Are you good people?!

[..Yes, this is a five-year-old on the network. Have fun with her.]

Uh, hi, Y-yotsuba. You're on the terminals, so you're basically talking to everyone in the tower.

[Yotsuba remembered this woman from the sound of her voice, and even though she wasn't sure of her she didn't seem like a wholly bad person, since she had been trying to help in her own way. So she was friendly as she spoke.]

Ooh! Everyone?! How many people are in the Tower?!

[Veronica almost felt angry at the kid, but couldn't be mad at a little girl, especially one that missed her family so dearly. At the very least she seemed to be alright.]

Uh... A lot of people. A lot.

...I don't know how many.

Oh..so your family visited you too. It's okay though! The bad people enchanted them and made them do those things, so it's okay! It's not their fault! They'll apologize when the enchantment's broken!

In a perfect world, I would not be needed. But there is no perfect world.

I would be judged as good or bad by different people. Those that I slay most likely would view me as bad. Those that I protect most likely would view me as good. Then there are those that view me as both. I do not make any such judgements. I do what is necessary.

..What's perfect? And you still haven't answered Yotsuba's question! And why do you kill people?! You can't normally come back to life! Did you apologize or were they jerks?!

[Okay, now Yotsuba was even more suspicious of this woman.]

A world without conflict would be an impossibly perfect world in that regard. It is those that pose a threat to the people or that divine inspiration tells me to kill that I slay. I am not a good person, nor am I bad. I merely do Her will.

Yotsuba doesn't know what conflict is either..or divine in..perspiration, but it doesn't sound like you apologized if you killed good people..

[This, along with Yotsuba's past experiences, was making Yotsuba think that this was not a good person at all.]

I have killed far more of the evil than good, but you are indeed correct. I have killed good people without apology because their deaths were necessary. Nevertheless, should peril befall you, I shall protect you.

[While she might not care about others' opinions of her divine duty, as she only needed answer to her goddess, should such a circumstance arise, she would rather this child not flee from her into further danger.]

[Sadly, Yotsuba would be doing her best to avoid this woman in the future since it sounded like she wasn't a nice lady at all!]

But you haven't told me what necessary is! I don't know, and it's not good to kill nice people here without apologizing..and it's not good to kill them for good! That's really bad! You're a bad person!

So be it. Regardless of your opinion of me, you are under my protection.

[She was entirely used to such reactions from those not of her people and cautious treatment even from her own people. It still did not affect her duty.]
